During the First World War, a lone French soldier must navigate twisted trenches, scavenge for limited supplies and solve complex puzzles—all whilst fighting for survival in the midst of mankind’s most brutal and horrifying conflict. CONSCRIPT is a new historical take on classic survival horror.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Jesus. I went into this game, not sure what to think, I've researched, learned, and Believed i had a good understanding of the first world war, especially coming from the perspective of my family roots. I was mistaken. I understand that this is a work of fiction, that this story is fictional, but it put into perspective how... brutal WW1 was, or war in general. At first it was about survival, Kill those who wish to kill me, fight against those who want me dead. But soon enough, every body, every man on the ground screaming for help? for their mother? And all i thought was merciful was to put a bullet in their skull. Scavenging corpses and finding pictures of their loved ones, their hopes, their dreams, their children. This game went from a survival experience, to one where i think i lost my humanity, the Pixels on screen, became more than that, they became people with lives, people who were just as scared, just as terrified, people who just wanted to live another day, Andre was just like them. It doesn't matter who fires the gun, both sides are killers. Both sides are young men fighting tooth and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nail to live to see their families again, and if you were unlucky enough to survive, to see your family once more, You were forever stuck in Verdun, The Somme, Gallipoli, Isonzo, regardless of your flag you would never leave that place. I cant even imagine what that must've been like, Both my Great Great Grandfathers fought, One for the Canadians, The other for the French, I never got to meet them, and i don't know what they would have to say, All i know is that if war was anything like this beautiful, terrifying, Heartbreaking game, than I don' know how one would come back from that. Genuinely one of the most disturbing pieces of media i have consumed. This is something i implore anyone to play, at least once.

Hard, but good game, love the survival aspect of it, and it being an RPG with the theme, thats hard to do. But i really enjoy it, didn't want to stop playing the first time, and then boom 4 hours are gone.
Had me enraptured.
Fantastic INDIE Game I've played in a while. The playthrough and soundtrack are ART itself. As well as this game being inspired by Resident Evil, it gives off that nostalgic atmosphere that you'll find with this game. Other than that I'm thankful for the Australian Government helping fund the development of this game as it's an important part of history and the men who perished in the Great War. I hope you all enjoy the game as I have. As always, Viva La France.
I'm a casual fan of survival-horror, not played much beyond RE and a bit of Amnesia. The game is phenomenal as a jumping on point. The atmosphere is unparalleled, the bleakness is perfectly conveyed by the visuals alongside the fantastic soundtrack, and the unravelling of Andres psyche even translates to gameplay effects through the shaking of the crosshair. Whilst it can be quite oppressive, the game is oddly peaceful at times thanks to the aforementioned visuals and music (i.e. the flashbacks, the music from Chapter 3). In gameplay terms, the clunkiness lends itself to the experience, Andre isn't some seasoned warrior, he's 19/20 iirc and an unwitting conscript thrust into some of the worst fights in WW1. On the subject of progressing the story, one of the critiques I hear reviewers cite as one of the factors holding Conscript back is the backtracking, most noticeably in Chapter 3 (rectified by the Transport Truck) but I think this makes the experience even better. It would be a bit unrealistic for the ruined landscape to not have numerous obstacles your average soldier isn't equipped to deal with. As for the historical side of the game, whilst it was not my primary area of study, as a History graduate it is 'nice' to see this horrific and underrepresented conflict depicted in this medium in such a respectful manner. Whilst it would be easy to present the Germans as faceless antagonists, there are numerous gameplay features which I will not spoil that truly encapsulate the injustices of war, that the young men with lives ahead of them are so cruelly and callously ripped away from any chance of a normal life because of the horrors of war, not just the French and Andre, but the men caught on the opposite side. The Propaganda posters are a nice detail, coupled with one specific ending, that Andre is tortured by the propaganda with a dehumanised German soldier being the instrument of this suffering. The only gripe I have is not the combat but some of the weapons and their efficiency compared to their peers in the same class (Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, etc.). I had some knowledge going into the game and wanted to unlock a gun which is unlocked through repeatedly interacting with an NPC throughout the game, only for a gun I unlocked in Chapter 2 to outshine it even when both were fully upgraded. It's not that I expected a busted gun to breeze through the rest of the game with, rather a powerhouse with the expected drawbacks, instead I got a clunky gun you'd expect to hit hard that felt like a peashooter. Secondly, the ammo economy is quite skewed in my opinion, whilst it feels like the tiers are Pistols > Rifles > Shotguns for most of the game in terms of most common > least common, Shotguns are well-placed as they have the best stopping power, whilst Rifles were outshone by Pistols despite the ammo being in shorter supply. I ended my first playthrough with numerous Gunpowder B's in my stash (the gunpowder used to craft Rifle Ammo) and stacks of the ammo leftover, whilst short on Pistol and Shotgun bullets. This might be an issue on my part, that I didn't properly utilise the Rifles. The melee weapons and non-standard weaponry were excellent and my loadout consisted mainly of a Pistol, Shotgun, Melee and the 'cannon'. Overall the game is phenomenal and I truly hope that Jordan and the team are working on a sequel as alluded to the continuation of Andre's familial tragedy in the secret ending. I just purchased the Officer's Edition as I wanted to listen to the phenomenal soundtrack somehow, as it is not on Spotify. I could not recommend the game more, it is proof that creativity still exists in the industry and a firm favourite of mine now. (Apologies for my verbosity and vagueness/lack of clarity at times, writing essays has seeped into other facets of life and as for the vagueness, I have tried not to spoil aspects of the game best experienced first-hand).
