Conquest of the New World has a wonderful computer player engine from the mid nineties. The custom games are very enjoyable.

Lots of issues...game crashes, in main menu can't select the play Custom game

I love this game. It is not too complicated and moves at the player's speed. This game allows the player to explore the new world, make new discoveries, build a colony and later expand. The player can use diplomacy with other countries and go to war when that when diplomacy fails or you just want to. This is not a game known for graphics or realistic blood and guts. It is a strategy game. Best game ever.

Awesome retro game!

I loved this game for a long time. I have some great memories of playing hotseat with a couple friends when I was younger. But I cannot recommend this game right now. Unless they figure out how to fix the crash during battles, this game is unplayable. The memory fix that users have recommended in the discussions no longer fixes the issue. You'll maybe get 50 turns into a game. After that, any battle will cause the game to crash. I really wish they would fix this...

Awesome game but didn't work on my PC. Something to do with DOS Box. Tried all the fixes I could find online but nothing worked. Obtained a refund... There are free versions of this game online if you look though and they work
