Hasn't been updated in months, lacks features, the controls are absolute garbage, it runs like crap on a great rig, isn't fun at all, and I don't ever see the developer coming back and making more out of this game. Hardly any tools, hardly any assets, and the ones that do exist look like crap or function in frustrating ways. The controls will make you uninstall the game before you can make anything cool. It's a good idea all around, but the engine it's built on and the progress already made (or, better yet, lack therof) mean this game isn't ever going to be worth it, or improve. There are thousands of building games out there that do everything this game does, along with much more, a hell of a lot better. Find another one. I really, really think the other reviews are either paid off or were somehow coerced into giving positive feedback to this game in one way or another. It's not good at all. Maybe if the game cost $1, but for $12 you're wasting your money. Go buy Minecraft. Edit: Told ya. This game is dead, devs took the money and split.
A Creative Sandbox Building Simulator
https://youtu.be/ajllQaRaEnY + Visually the game looks great, especially when you see some of the office buildings people have made. + Gameplay is great if you enjoy designing houses, or basic realistic rooms. Personally, it felt a bit like Garry's Mod but building creative like the Sims. + The controls work nice. It's pretty easy to build full sized rooms and decorate + Multiplayer seems to work great. I was able to join servers very quickly, and see others creations. This game would be really fun to play with friends or do a bit of roleplay. + Possible workshop support / mods so people can design their own assets / textures This game is in early access so don't take these too seriously - Not enough assets, I'd like to see more things to create, and a more variety of items so that every house looks different and unique. (more textures too!) - I feel like the building system could be improved a bit. I struggled to build a basic box as it was tad difficult to line things up, and flip objects to get them to where you wanted to go. - Texture popping when you merge two things together (like two walls), which is common if you can't find a piece that matches up perfectly. ~ Just a side note, I would love to see some better skyboxes with clouds, sun, maybe a day/night cycle. It would really bring some life into the game.
Highly addictive, and pretty robust for an early access title. Can't wait for more parts to be added, either by the developers or via mods. It is a sandbox; so don't expect any gameplay as such (except for a very short tutorial level).
Concrete and Steel is a sandbox game where, you guessed it, build stuff. Now, while I love creative games, this one fell short for me. I'm not sure if it's because of the pretty early state that the game is in, but I think really what did it for me was how frustrating the controls were. And in the end, it really didn't do much more than what other games already do. I kind of don't see a point in playing this when there are so many games that are exactly like this and actually perform better. So maybe you can build really cool big structures with this, but I couldn't see myself continuing to be frustrated by the controls any longer. I generally do hope that the developers find fun ways to differentiate this game from others, because right now it doesn't feel like an improvement over games I already play. I recommend this title, it's unique and has great potential, very similar in gameplay to minecraft sandbox mode... but purchase with caution. This is a sandbox game with no other components and its in a very early access state. Keep in mind the following quote from the Developer. Calling this a "final completed game" in it's current state would misrepresent the game, and we do not want to upset or disappoint people that buy the game in its current state thinking that it's a final, completed, shelf-ready game. Please watch my video below for alot more information. https://youtu.be/0O9FG0bW1_s

Graphics, Average quality graphically, but very functional and works well for the construction.
Audio , very minimal, alot of work required on audio.
Gameplay,. Fantastic concept, UI is easy to use, but can be very frustrating, a lot of room to improve on the UI. You can easily spend a few hours in this game making whatever you can imagine, playing multiplayer really opens a lot of potential.
Played this game from the start, perfect game if youre feeling creative. looking forward to seeing what comes next
I really enjoyed what this game had to offer, and where it was headding. Theres not many games that let you run wild in a 3D building sandbox like this one. Being able to build large scale buildings, bridges and landscapes was really fantastic. Saddly, after 0 news posts, replys, or tweets, Its fair to say that this game has been abandond, or at the very least put on hold by the dev. If they do come back to working on this, I will gladly recommend this game again.
WARNING: game has been abandoned! So i have been waiting months (OVER A YEAR!) for another update to do a review and a video review but i cannot due to: Abandonment of the game, lack of features, controls are bad, it runs like crap on what i would say is more than enough to run this, hardly any assets, and the ones that do exist look bad and/or function badly. The controls alone will make you uninstall. It's a good concept, but in the current state stay well away!
good game
