Delivering a visceral WWII gaming experience, Company of Heroes redefines RTS by bringing the sacrifice of heroic soldiers, war-ravaged environments, and dynamic battlefields to life. This legacy version also grants access to the latest version of COH, just called "Company of Heroes".

Gameplay Mechanics: 10/10 Narrative: 7/10 Graphics: 7/10 Sound and Music: 9/10 Replayability: 8/10 Innovation: 9/10 Company of Heroes is a true legend in the real-time strategy space—and the Legacy Edition keeps the original intact for fans who want to experience one of the best WW2 RTS games in its purest form. Even years after release, it still holds up due to its deep mechanics, gritty tone, and intense, tactical combat. Gameplay mechanics are nearly flawless. It's not just about building a base and spamming units—positioning, cover, line of sight, flanking, and suppression all matter. Every skirmish feels dynamic and alive, with real-time reactions to enemy movement and terrain. Score: 10/10. Narrative is decent for a WW2 RTS. The campaign follows the Allied forces from D-Day onward, with a mix of historical missions and cinematic storytelling. It's not super deep, but it's emotionally effective and immersive. Score: 7/10. Graphics were groundbreaking at launch and still look good today, especially for their age. Explosions, destructible buildings, and detailed unit animations bring the battlefield to life. Score: 7/10. Sound and music are top-tier. Explosions rumble, gunfire cracks with power, and soldiers shout out contextual commands. The audio design adds so much to the chaos of battle. Score: 9/10. Replayability is strong. Between the campaign, skirmish mode, and online multiplayer, there’s a ton of content. Mods and community maps extend the life even further. Score: 8/10. Innovation was huge when it launched. The use of tactical cover, suppression mechanics, and destructible environments redefined what an RTS could be. It’s no exaggeration to say it changed the genre. Score: 9/10. Bottom line: Company of Heroes: Legacy Edition is a must-play for RTS fans. It's tactical, intense, cinematic, and brilliantly designed. Whether you're here for nostalgia or discovering it for the first time, it's a war game classic that still hits hard.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Jul 24 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Best RTS ever made. If you don't buy this then you are missing out.
Excellent RTS WW2 strategy.
Do not buy the bundle. Legacy Edition doesn't work. Going to try to get my money back for bundle.
Fun and challenging at times.
The CoH saga is a great WWII RTS and much better than other games of this theme. This game is based on the Western Front, and you can play as Americans, British, and Germans in both campaign and skirmish modes. Highly recommended, and it also has some great discounts.
great rts, resource location locked, good at what the game does meaning it pdelivers what the game is indicated and designed for comfortably
시리즈 2, 3 말고 저는 1이 너무 좋아요. 가끔씩 들어와서 하고 있습니다.
i like how everything on the map i impacted by attacks and that the combat is pretty realistic instead of just sending big mods to b e shredded troop hide behind stuff like people would in real combat.
It is a timeless strategy game which I have played for years and hope to play for years more.
