An incremental horror game about loving your job a little too much. Hire workers to automate the line, then recycle them once they've stopped being useful. Your office assistant is always glad to help you climb the ladder, and to remove whoever's on it.

Idle & Incremental Lovers recommends Company is watching: Amazing horror take on the incremental genre. Creepy atmosphere for this descent into the dark depths of assembly-line production. Two endings, both leaving a part of mystery unexplained. Good stuff! + You love incremental games but are tired of seeing the same themes again and again and wanna play something creative? Then this horror-themed incremental is for you! + Those eyes watching you are creepy. Those phone calls are creepy. Not knowing what the purpose of what you is creepy. Working in the dark, with no natural light is creepy. Repetitive factory sounds are creepy. Wait... is it just another day at the office? + Your "resources" are quite original. + I never throwed a corpse in a grinder in real life (duh!), didn't imagine it would fall beside most of the time. Damn, those legs and arms are cumbersome... + I like how large parts of the story are told through environmental storytelling. Great game design. + I'm usually not a fan of multiple endings, but when both are good (or bad!) and you can easily switch to the other one after completion, I'm all for it! *My hands clock in. My brain never does. It's a matter of survival.* Found this review helpful? Je me suis bien amusée !
Average contractor's tuesday.
Nut bolts, crank generator, 3 second breaks under heavy surveillance in a 5x5x5 box.

Horror incrementals are definetely a genre. Second closest was "When the clock stops" (which is Berry Bury Berry-like, but with grimmer atmosphere). Horror part comes from occasional appearing-out-of-nowhere eyes, which act like weeping angels (move while you're not looking) while you're not doing what you were hired for. They're pretty fast, and you have to keep them in check while relocating yourself to get an upgrade. Took me a good while to understand how they operate, even with dialogue hints. But unfortunately, all of that tension is being demolished once you reach 2nd half of the game and get your hands on the weapon to deal with them, because not only you can fight them off now, eyes themselves stop attacking entirely. Guess its related to the NPC in 2nd half having these eyes as part of his character. Progression is passable. A bit repetitive in early-game, but gains traction mid-game. And becomes the average 3d incremental in late-game. Even got physical element and 2 endings, but its mostly about "which resource to grind". On release it just straight up deleted the save file on game end, so i had to complete it twice, oof. It's been fixed since then. Game is a little rough polishing-wise in 2nd half, but nothing game-breaking:
sledgehammer
animations/texture no hotkeys for items (scroll wheel only), eyes going offline after reaching 2nd half (not like they're a threat at this point anyways). Still waiting on the patch for these, but at the core, game is complete.

It's alright, but i'd get it on sale. <2 hour finish time, +5-10 minutes for 100% and the main gimmick gets tossed away halfway through, shame, would've been nice to have some new threat to be introduced in late-game, but all the horror that was left is end-game price scaling. why is every review french lmao, im feeling entouré, le xd
