Comic Book Hero: The Greatest Cape

Personally I have never fully experienced much of text-based games, and as a game from 2015 attempting to revive the genre I wish it would be slightly more accessible. Yes, I need you to hold my hand and give me a tutorial and a headstart. I didn't feel that's the case here, though.

I enjoyed it back in the 2000s, and still enjoyed it. A Text based RPG of being any Superhero I want. I like to edit things in a Simple Way without too much Image Editing, so I picked this.

This game needs more content to be worth it. It feels rather empty to be a superhero.

I wanted to like this game. It has the potential to be a lot of fun. The lack of any kind of real tutorial or explanation is a massive problem for a game that lives and dies on as many stats, skills, and sliders as this one does. The UI is semi-intuitive, if you're able to guess how the devs think about things.

I think this game has a ton of potential - but as it is in its current state, I wouldn't recommend it. Its most powerful feature is easily its user-created content, but it has no steam workshop support. In addition, the forums where you would normally find that content are incredibly inactive and the vast majority of links are dead. Figuring out how the game works is also unintuitive. It's not as bad as, say, Dwarf Fortress, but I picked it up with relative ease due to how much I play games like that where most of the challenge comes from figuring out the user interface. Oh, and there's an update patch out on the dev's website that hasn't gone up on Steam in, like, 2 years, and you can't install it because of Steam DRM. So basically I like it but wouldn't recommend it.

Spent a lot of time on this game while i was in class in university. Enjoyed it.

내가 이런게임 내돈주고 삿을리는없고.. 어디 번들에서 껴들어온것임이 틀림없음 안그러고서야 내가 2만원씩이나주고 이런걸산다고? 암 어림도없지 진짜 심플하게 히어로 가지고 텍스트게임하는건데 2만원돈이나 주고 하려구요? 난 학창시절 공책에 그렸던 프리메이플 그런건줄알앗음 이게 복합적씩이나 되는것도 이해가안됨 양키쪽은 뭔가 다른건가?

This game was actually extremely fun with lots of options to customize. Great way to make your own hero, just sad it wasnt continued with villains would make it alot more interesting to play as both.

I expected more from this game, it was very confusion.

Erm, what I was doing? I thought this is a cool game, not a headache.
