Un excellent jeu, et très bien équilibré.
I'm conflicted about this game. I enjoy playing it... in short bursts. The grind is real. The grind isn't fun. But when the grind gets you to a nice upgrade (there aren't many significant enough to call them "nice"), it feels great, and you get some fun with it until the grind to the next upgrade becomes annoying. TL;DR: Gameplay loop is grindy, but you get decent dopamine hits here and there. Edit: Nearly 12 hours to complete, and given the annoying grind I can't say I got a full hour of "actual entertainment" per dollar spent. I still recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind a grind and wants to have fun in short bursts. Otherwise, steer clear. Edit #2: Tried update 1.1, and the early progression isn't much better. Call me casual, call me a boomer, but unless you're a "god gamer" you'll still be struggling getting enough upgrades to make progression feel right. So I'm switching from a recommendation to not recommending, seeing how the dev couldn't even get the early game improved enough. Like, why do I have to fail the first stage nearly 10 times in order to have enough upgrades to beat it? You should only require 3-4 runs to beat it, then 4-5 for the next, 5-6, 6-7, etc. Seriously, either make it easy, or make it fun. As it stands the early game isn't fun (imagine seeing more than half your currency rotting out of magnet range, over and over), and it's not easy because the amount of upgrades you need to easily kill the enemies is downright wrong.
Early game is a bit slow but it really ramps up towards the end. The huge skill tree is fun and even though I'm not usually one for anything bullet hell-ish, I had a blast beating the levels and different challenges.
