Had a lot of fun with all the combat mission games. I stopped playing for a while then redownloaded all the games but now they crash consistently after 3 to 4 minutes no matter what I'm doing, in game, title screen, deployment phase etc. Everything is exactly the same as when I played last, same PC, same games, no updates. I am at a loss... don't waste your money.

Good
love it!
I really enjoy these games! I recently bought a few during the recent sale after holding off for years, mainly because even during sales, they rarely dropped below 25% off. However, I regret waiting so long because this is by far the most intelligent and addicting RTS/turn-based strategy game I’ve ever played.
I can't believe I got swindled into paying $80 for this game and it's expansion. Alot of authoritative sounding people on the internet hype this game up, how advanced the ballistic simulations are, that each individual molecule of a piece of face hardened steel is recreated an infinite number of times per second for each tank on the battlefield, of which there will be hundreds in a single battle, billions of molecules being displaced in a single rifle round penetrating an anatomically correct Panzergrenadier's abdominal wound. Of course it's going to run like crap they say, but I'm willing to put up with that, for a physics simulation more complicated than putting a man on the moon. I'm willing to play a game that runs like ass, and looks like ass, so I can experience EXACTLY what happened to real soldiers on that date in WW2. I got swindled by these losers, there is no reason an EIGHTY DOLLAR GAME should look like ass and run like ass. Plenty of video games have realistic physics and advanced ballistics simulations over an area MUCH BIGGER than anything in this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game built in 200 F'ING 7. The only difference between this game, and the first one released on the same engine in 2007 are the two new graphics options "Shaders" and "Tree Detail", and both of these options made the game just as unplayable in 2016 when this game came out as is it today in 2025. I wouldn't mind this game if I had payed five or ten dollars for it, I'd probably get years of enjoyment out of it. But the fact that they have the AUDACITY to pretend like it's worth $80 and stand by that, makes me never want to play any product they ever release in the future.
Awesome game.
