All the magic of a Hideo Miyazaki film wrapped up into a beautifully crafted, immersive world. I've been following Colosse since it was showcased as part of last year's GearVR jam. While impressive on the GearVR, Colosse really shines with room-scale on the Vive. It feels so real to be ducking behind rocks and hiding for cover just as the fisherman does while the Colosse comes rumbling up to your position. I would honestly have paid a few bucks for this, but given that it's free, you have no reason at all not to experience it.
Played On: HTC Vive
Colosse is a brief, five minute animation about a hunter and a giant beast in an icy tundra. The animation type is very polygonal, and reminiscent of PS1 era graphics, mixed with a modern day polishing like what has been seen in some Legend of Zelda titles. There's no dialogue, and the heart of the story is really up to the interpretation of the viewer. There's not a whole lot to be said other than you just stand there and look around while your location changes two or three times. To be fair, Colosse was one of the first short animations to make its way to the VR market. It's a free experience, but there are many other free short films that are better; some are even longer. I'd highly recommend Allumette or Google Spotlight Stories: Son of Jaguar in lieu of spending any time here. The story is rather bland, and the entire experience is simply underwhelming. If you want to take a look at how far we've come in the last year and a half in VR, then definitely give this a try, otherwise it's best to just move on. La curiosidad de verlo y desinstalarlo después.
🎮🌵Más reseñas en mi mentor🌵🎮

At first I was a bit confused about the story, but then the word "parable" popped out in my mind... Now everything makes sense! It's short, it's free and won't waste you much time. Just give a try and maybe you will learn something from it.
Colosse is a free VR short story. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. 5 minute story. Try it and see the quick story.
'COLOSSE' gerçek zamanlı bir sanal gerçeklik hikaye anlatma deneyimidir. Bir avcının yolları gizemli bir titanla kesişir.

Another non-interactive short animation film in VR, this one's originality comes from its vector/low-polygon aesthetics and great sense of scale. I wouldn't call it essential, but it's good and it's free, so I see no reason to pass on this one.
Watched on HTC Vive Pro/Wireless/Vive Wands/RTX2060Super. It's a nice animation, although the story itself was not really my taste. I liked the visuals very much. As it's free you should definitely check it out.
