My Playtime: 9.2h (finished all puzzles except the one sold in the store)
Intro
Color A Cube is a 3D color-by-number game where you color a 3D model made out of voxels. It currently has 18 models + 14 paid models with free currency, as well as several time-limited and paid DLC ones. Pros: - 32 models to color - A lot of customizable settings Cons: - You can only rotate the voxels and not move the camera around Specs Steam Deck: AMD Zen 2 4c/8t 2.4-3.5GHz, 16 GB RAM, 8 AMD RDNA 2 CUs
Should you play this game?
If you like playing color-by-number games, you can play it. However, note that it might be hard to complete some models due to how the camera is designed.

In-Depth Review

Visuals
The game uses simplified visuals, with voxels that look blocky and UI with soft and relaxing colors. Combine this with the relaxing music, and you'll be able to refresh your brain while mindlessly coloring the objects.
The Game
Color A Cube is a color-by-number game played in 3D. Instead of 2D pixel paintings, you'll get 3D voxel models instead. The size varied from small to large, with colors going as many as 60 different colors. These numbers mean that there won't be any hotkeys, although it's still easy to navigate through the colors since there is an option to skip finished numbers. The large models can be a problem due to how the camera is designed. You can only rotate and zoom in and out, meaning that it will be hard to see the edges. You'll have to rotate the models several times just to find the voxel that you need to color, and this also will make it hard to find the ones hidden between the small gaps. Moreover, the game doesn't offer any kind of hints that will move your camera to the approximate location of where the uncolored voxel is—the only hint it gave is by coloring the number written on the voxel on a different color, in which, despite that it was helpful to some extent, it won't help you if you can't see the voxel that you need to color in the first place. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3493535667 To be honest, finding the last voxel to color was the only annoying aspect in the game. Sometimes it feels like finding a needle in a haystack due to how small and hard-to-reach that last voxel is. Moreover, you can't even reset the whole voxel to give it a second try if you haven't finished it—you can only do so if you have finished the model, and there is no reward or anything to give the incentive to restart the model again. Luckily, the newly-implemented hint system helps this by showing you where the uncolored voxel is while still allowing you to find them yourself. The game seems to encourage in-game monetization. Logging in once a day and finishing a model for the first time will net you some in-game vox, the in-game currency, although you won't have enough money to buy everything that the shop has with your free currency unless you play the game for several days. For reference, I already finished all models and 3 time-limited ones that can be claimed during some event, but I only have 170 vox, the in-game currency. This can only be used to buy around seven models, which is not enough since there are more than that in the game. Length and Difficulty The time needed to finish each model can depend on the size. The smaller ones can be finished in a matter of minutes, although the large one can take as long as two hours for me. As for the difficulty, I found the larger ones to be difficult due to the camera; you'll find yourself having a hard time finding the voxels that you need to color.
Conclusion
Despite it being intended to be a relaxing game, the camera design ruined the game. I don't like how you can't move it around to see the spot that you need to color. The game ended up being similar to finding a needle in a haystack, which was so problematic to solve. However, the game was relaxing enough when it was not being like this, and since it's free, I don't mind recommending it, especially since it has a lot of content.

very good but little content, steam workshop or a creating tool would make this goty
After playing the demo, I immediately knew I wanted to experience the full game and I’m glad I did! This is one of the most relaxing coloring games I’ve ever played. The coloring itself is soothing, and the music adds such a peaceful atmosphere. If you're looking for a calm, creative experience, I definitely recommend this game.
i like it a lot, but i'd love to have support for touch screens/steamdeck
A cute little twist on the classic pixel colour games! Great to kill some time or just relax for a bit!
A fun and relaxing game for when you want to play something but you're not really sure what and just want to wind down a bit. I like the clicky-clacky-poppy sounds of the different colors, and finishing a painting always feels satisfying. Sometimes I just watch a show on one screen and do some clicky paintings on the other screen (gotta love consuming as much media as we can lol). I like how they keep adding more content too!
Makes a refreshing change from ordinary coloring games
pretty chill game tbh would recommend to other people, also Dead Cells :O
