The art is amazing The soundtrack is pretty good. Unfortunately, the gameplay gets tedious very quickly and is a case of making bars go up. Whether they be health bars, search bars, sanity bars, every decision has an optimal choice based on how much bar you get. The characters don't react to your choices and the hallways are random. It is well done but I would wait for a sale. https://youtu.be/S_Hw7J11Olo
The hand-drawn art is amazing
Really fun when you figure out the icons and mechanics, fourth chapter gets quite difficult. I hope more content is coming soon.
Unique concept of a comic book creation interface to play the game

Really nice take on a RPG, love the comic style presentation and the artwork is beautiful. The mechanics is a little confusing at the beginning but when you play throuh the tutorial and play a couple of rounds you get the hang of it.
Coldage is a game which I backed on Kickstarter in 2022 and only now (2025) got around to playing. It is a post-apocalyptic game told in comic book cutscenes and gameplay reminiscent of a resource management board game. You control a team of five characters which each are represented by two cards of actions. These action cards are consumable, so you have to be strategic in how you spend them across each stage of the game. Do not stress too much, however, because it is still a rather simple system which you quickly get used to and master. Right before you would expect the game to take it up a notch and add interesting complexity however, it ends. (For example, it would have been interesting to encounter new characters and be forced to choose which characters to bring into a stage - to add another layer of strategy.) The story is also quite vague and I still don't really understand what is going on - even after completing a full playthrough. Your team is sent out from their camp in search of something - or someone - and will battle mutants called "sleepers" and encounter wild people called "nomads" out in the post-apocalytic wasteland. This is all told in slideshows of comic book panels while atmospheric music plays, but it does not explain much and will not win any awards. As it is, you do not get to know the characters on any kind of deeper level and never feel invested in their quest. The game was okay, and it took me only a little over an hour to beat. It has multiple different endings, but I am not interested in returning to the game for a second playthrough.
The artworks in this game are one of the best and the most original you can find in the industry nowadays! Looking forward to some new gameplay mechanics!
