A történet a hidegháború idején játszódik, ahol Matthew Carter újságíró a Szovjetunió elnöke elleni merénylet megakadályozásán fáradozik 15 fejezeten át. A feladatokat lehet lopakodva, és vértócsákon át gázolva is teljesíteni, viszont ahogy haladunk előre, egyre több ellenség állja utunkat, lehetetlen feladat mindenkit életben hagyni. Sajnálatos módon a 8-10 órányi játékidő mindössze 2-3 helyszínen zajlik, és emiatt baromi unalmas lett.
