Coastal Summit Sports: College Hockey 26

Played through a full season on the SteamDeck. A few minor crashes, but it looks like the dev is working hard to iron some things out. The UI was a bit small for recruiting, but everything else ran well. A lot of different strategies to implement and change throughout the season. I would love the opportunity to make in-game changes, though. If I’m winning a game by 3 goals heading into the third, it would be nice to have the opportunity to change forecheck and neutral zone systems to try and preserve the lead. Overall, a great start, and I’m looking forward to seeing some of the kinks worked out.

For someone who loves taking control of and building a team, I enjoyed playing through a college season. You get a nice mix of scenarios depending on the team you choose and nothing is guaranteed. A few things that would be nice to have: - Ability to bookmark players within the player card when scouting - In the game box score, the ability to sort through the stats - In the play game sim, the ability to hover above the number to see goals (#) and assists (#) - In the Dashboard where it shows next up, have the same data as when you play (starting lineup, best players, bettings odds) - Ability to sim a single game at a time without having to play - Some of the hint content is helpful but I feel like more would be nice since at times I found myself guessing as to what I should be doing The only bug I found, is that every single player on my roster including the players that I recruited are Left Handed

Im from Germany and i got addicted to the NHL 2 yrs back through a random GM Mode YT video from JohnnySuperbman, on whos channel i saw this lovely spreadsheet simulator. Can only recommend it so far, easy to pick up (imo) and very addicting if you love the managing part of a sports team. Only negatives so far, alot of players go nameless into the transfer portal and still get picked up but cant be used in line ups (patched) and recruiting might be to easy (kinda patched). Cant wait this game to be fleshed out more in the future, gj so far. edit: i noticed every single player on every single team is left handed

It's a fun game in general if you like sports simming. Definitely some QOL adjustments to be made (for example filtering/information display for scouted players, and more info menus for icons/tooltips) Overall the sim seems relatively simple/accurate and it gives you enough in depth adjustments to make you feel like you're in control of the team. I'm a fan and recommend it with the hopes that it will just continue to get better

This game is very enjoyable and good in depth. The recruiting system is very fun and good to play with. Someone that is newer can pick this up well and enjoy it. I also really like the prestige system. Some tweaks to make may include: Making conference seeds based on conference schedules. Playoff OT is continuous not 5 minute then shootout The national playoff should not be reseeded Overall very fun so far can't wait to keep playing.

I was ecstatic to find this game as I love college hockey. I am playing on the Xbox ally Rog and so far the game isn't set up to play on here, its clearly intended for laptop/computer. The scrollbars make it so that you only see half the player names, making it hard to actually click on a player. Make it more accessible for the Xbox ally and I give it a much higher rating. For the price, the game is good, not great, but with a lot of potential. I would love to see an actual 2d simulation added but thats a pretty major request, I'm guessing. In general its a simple sim compared to most sports manager Sims, but for the price I really can't complain. I'm just happy for a college hockey game.

Great game! Def some QOL improvments could happen but still Lots of fun, the recruiting is challenging without it being impossible and I like all the synergies we can run. I finished my first season and can't get past the awards screen, if someone knows how that'd be great!

EDIT : Apparently the bug has been fixed. Shouldn't have existed in the first place, BUT, it's at least fixed. Will give it a new shot in a week or so.

Great game! I have tried all of the other hockey sims but this one by far has the best UI and some other elements. Hope for more depth in the future. For $10 this game is a no brainer.
