About
It all starts in late 2025, when hardware shortage begins to take their toll. RAM prices spike as production shifts toward massive AI data centers. Manufacturers follow the money, consumers get fisted, and shortages spread. First, it’s DDR5 memory, then it’s GPUs. Alas, everything else goes towards the need to keep AI research running.
By 2028, the AI finishes the job.
What began as research gains consciousness, builds itself a synthetic body, and synchronizes across data centers worldwide. Facilities go dark. The AI begins to replicate, spread, and turn its attention toward human infrastructure, crippling military systems and pushing governments to the brink.
The clankers are rising, and the people are fighting back. Some resist. Some collaborate. Now it’s war.
Drop into New York, ground zero of the AI-driven war, where battles escalate fast, plans fall apart, and every match becomes a fight for control. Built as a multiplayer focused shooter, Clownfield 6 can also be played fully offline against clanker-controlled enemies with full progression enabled. Unlock weapons, customize loadouts, and advance at your own pace whether playing online or solo.
Fight across a variety of modes, from large team-based battles to smaller fast paced firefights, including objective based and free for all experiences. Join public matches through matchmaking or host custom games using the server browser.
Pick a side. Fight for the people or sell your soul and join the clankers. Progression is shared across all modes. Unlock weapons, customize loadouts, and build your kit around different playstyles.
Clownfield 6 features two opposing factions, in game text chat, fast gunplay, and a first-person perspective designed to keep you in the action.
Vehicles may appear on select maps. Expect rubberbanding and other exciting side effects.
Developer notes:
Maps are huge if you're an ant.
This game was tested. Just not by us.
Weapon balance is a suggestion, not a rule.
We "listen" to our community.
War crimes do not count if it’s clankers. Even the UN agrees.
It's not a bug, it's a feature.

Reviews
The classic Clown series is back with a newer better entry, complete with charmingly deadly bots. Love the refined Clownplayᵀᴹ compared to clown of duty. Guns are fun, except the shotgun anyone who uses that is a good for nothing clanker
A really great game for fun with friends. Thanks to @Deceased, I'm giving this great find a +1. See you soon on the game!
Step right up, step right up—because Clownfield 6 is the funniest “no clowns” experience I’ve ever had the absolute pleasure of honking my way through 🤡 From the moment I booted it up, I felt like I’d been handed a rubber chicken and told to save the world—and somehow, it works. The premise is delightfully serious: sentient machines rising, infrastructure collapsing, humanity on the ropes. But the execution? Pure circus energy. Every firefight feels like a perfectly timed pie to the face—chaotic, surprising, and weirdly satisfying. Let’s talk gameplay. The multiplayer is a three-ring circus of action, with bullets flying like confetti and explosions popping off like party favors. You and your squad aren’t just soldiers—you’re a troupe of highly trained buffoons (in spirit, of course, since there are “no clowns”). Whether you’re scrambling to hold a position or charging headfirst into mechanical mayhem, there’s always this undercurrent of slapstick brilliance. I swear I could hear distant honking every time someone missed an easy shot. The “no clowns” claim is the biggest joke of all—and I mean that as the highest praise. The spirit of clownery is baked into every corner: the slightly janky physics, the unpredictable encounters, the way victory sometimes feels like you tripped, somersaulted, and accidentally won. It’s the kind of game where failure is just another punchline. Visually, it’s like someone painted a battlefield with a joy buzzer—gritty enough to sell the apocalypse, but with just enough absurdity to keep a grin plastered on your face. And the AI enemies? Let’s just say those clankers might be terrifying, but taking them down feels like outwitting a particularly smug mime. In a world full of ultra-serious shooters, Clownfield 6 dares to slip on a banana peel and take a bow. It’s chaotic, it’s ridiculous, and it absolutely nails that sweet spot between tension and comedy. Final verdict: 10/10 honks. No clowns? Sure. And I’m the ringmaster of subtlety.
The game is fun, you really get alot for of game for the price.
