Un gren juego de puzzles / plataformas. Los últimos niveles son bastante exigentes y hay que dedicarles bastante tiempo. Merece la pena.
A Puzzle game that is more tedious than ingenious. Closure is a simple puzzle game with light platforming elements. Essentially, only objects illuminated exist in the world, so ever puzzle revolves around you finding out what, and how, to illuminate the right things to navigate to an exit. There are also some secrets to be found if you want to go above and beyond the normal puzzle. Puzzle games are predicated on one simple rule: They should be difficult to find the solution, but once you know the solution, they should be simple to execute. This is where Closure falters. More often than not, it will take you longer to implement a solution to a puzzle than find the solution itself. In addition, most of the solutions involve fairly tedious back and forth movements, or picking up and dropping items repeatedly to make progress towards an exit. Add to this the lack of a rewind button to resolve minor mistakes and you're left with a game that punishes minor mistakes with a total reset and requires a lot of minor finicky movement to complete. The puzzles themselves aren't bad per se, but it's just not enjoyable to play. Rather than feeling satisfied with finding a solution, most of the time I felt dread at realizing how much back and forth or picking up and dropping the solution would require. On top of that, you are often tasked with ferrying a key to an exit, and if you have to do this while also bringing a light source with you, you'll be picking up and dropping TWO items over and over again. Hopefully, you don't ever accidentally jump or move slightly too far, or your key will fall through the map and force a reset. The visuals of this game are very interesting, but it hardly makes up for the boring puzzle solutions. Yes, I played this game for less than an hour in total, but I got through about 30 puzzles and just wasn't having a good time, so why play for longer.
Closure - really unique key into the void, and a lot of the puzzles
I can see the appeal behind this game's idea: use light to clear a way towards a goal, overcoming obstacles and manipulating the landscape to help you reach the exit. In theory, it's quite interesting and creative. In practice, it's awful. I'm not sure what this game is supposed to be. I'd say at best, it's a poorly executed puzzle game. At worst, it's one of those "try not to rage" flash games that are designed to infuriate you and make you rage quit. The whole idea behind puzzles games for me, is once you solve it in your mind, you do it quickly to move to the next level. However, because of how this game works, knowing what to do is only half the challenge - you still need to be extremely focused and nuanced on your movement and actions, otherwise you risk failing and having to do the whole level over again. This just results in an overwhelmingly frustrating experience. I only recommend this game if you're into extremely frustrating, rage-inducing puzzle games AND if you also have a high tolerance for frustration and a LOT of patience. Otherwise, stay away from it.
Another mega bland platformer revolving around a singular mechanic and a black and white art style to coast by on. Just within a few levels of play you are already repeating similar (unfun) functions and they think it needed over a 100 levels? nah, would have rated it higher had it not just wasted my time with such padding when it really did not need it. Don't know what bundle this came in but it is not worth it trying to finish.
Schönes Kurz Spiel um schnell 100% Erfolg zu bekommen :)
4/10
Excellent jeux de plateforme et de puzzle énigmatique.
Genialna gra o zabawie światłem i cieniem. Końcowe poziomy są bardzo trudne.
Closure is a hidden gem. Clever puzzles, stunning art and a haunting atmosphere that sticks with you. The chilly sound design, the moody weather, and the creepy drawings added a Lovecraftian vibe and made the game feel mysterious—without a single line of dialogue. Loved every second of it. Highly recommended.
