Needs a tutorial, i had no idea what was happening at start. Too much stuff not being explained.
can not change resolution.

I was being optimistic when i bought this. Community is very helpful and nice. Music is pretty good, nice variety from what i've been listening to. Right away you're thrust into the game after choosing a class (they mostly felt similar except for looks) and you have to read a tutorial to get any sense of whats going on and it doesn't fully explain everything. Leveling up skills and whatnot ends up being what you do most of the time and some of it can be automated. It gets to a point where you're lvling up stats by the millions almost right away. Server Wide Buffs are up fairly often and a catchup mechanic is in place. This takes from my own enjoyment, it feels like cheating and makes my choices not really matter. i played for almost a whole day, actively in the game window just upgrading nonstop and having no sense what stats are great and how mechanics work unless i asked for help. The end goal seems to be Ascending which you can't do as fast as the catch up mechanics normally allow, because it requires your Gems to be higher and higher lvl'd. but Gems lvl up slow as hell so you're now gated by time. Boss fights are a joke, you queue up get ported into a room with some other players or your party and wack an obscenely high lvl boss for 5 minutes not even knocking down 1% HP. Then you get a reward window for some currency you will spend asap. nothing happens during the fight, it just stands there menacingly. Gear system is alright, lots of frequent drops and set bonuses can be interesting. Combat is just autocasting spells/skills and some proc on cast passives. you have no influence over your character besides pressing buttons to increase stats. oh and you can drag your skills around on your hotbar to change casting priority. Runes are a currency to change your skills somewhat, like making a single target skill have an increasing chance at hitting multiple targets, or changing a spell into a DoT. All in all, it has a decent amount of progression systems but is still somewhat barebones. it is lacking an endgame progression system of some kind because right now only Ascending is the end game and its not very satisfying. I know idle games are pointless, but i paid to play this one and it ended up making my pointless upgrades and choices even more pointless by overleveling me straight out of the gate and i am unable to refund after trying to see whats in store myself.
Amazing game, n rare breed of a multiplayer (parties/guilds) idle game that goes above and beyond your average idle. a lot of interesting systems, very friendly community always willing to help and advise. Updated regularly with new things. 10/10
There is literally nothing explained in terms of how you play this game. You are just thrust into some survival mode, and the game starts to play itself. Meanwhile, it seems like every single feature in the game is just thrown at you with no explanation. I've played a ton of idle games, and none have left me more confused after a mere 1 minute than this game did. Terrible new player experience.
I dont know what to do. We need some kind of tutorial...
Bounces around too much for my liking and gives me a massive headache due to the viewpoint. Unplayable in my opinion.
So... 62 hrs at post. This game, very interesting. You got Hero's, you got items, you got mods to items, you got mods to mods and then you got buffbuff! You pick a Hero and go.. hmmm, where? Forward! So? I think of it as a mash up of several things I like.. erm (idle) games.. idlesword2/idlehero/clickheros/ICE(but not ITRTG YET?)(hated ICE) I got the GD... What has it got? first off a hero(or 13) that run around solo or in a group of 5 other players doing everything for you, you direct it to a dungeon it gets the job done. What job you may ask? Collect currency! (and level) What do you do with all these Currency's you ask? MAKE NUMBERS BIGGER! So first thing to do once you get this game, pay no attention to all the flashy colors flashing about and read the tutorial book that's down in the options and enjoy the music. Once you got the basics down from the tutorial book, look at the other buttons on the lower right. Once you have done this you should know a bit about what's going on and have gained some currency to invest in to something. Make sure to use the chat and ask any questions you need help with, many community members are really helpful and the Dev may even chime in to help you out personally. Come join the idle fun, even at 22$ I think it is worth my time. Plus its in EA so who knows what may get added over time.
Look at my play time. You can thanks me later ^^
