Have you heard of or played a game called 'Startup Company', where you create websites and manage a team of staff with various disciplines? Yeah, this is that game. This is exactly that game, right down to the list of website 'features', potential users limiting growth and marketing. The entire system, just shamelessly ripped off (And arguably made worse, since the near-identically named staff roles don't develop components, they just add 'points' that can be spent on exactly the same junk you'd spend components on in Startup Company.) The 'added features' here are a thematic (But ultimately shallow and meaningless) focus on illicit drugs, a bafflingly odd inclusion of multiple cryptocurrencys (I wonder if the dev(s) are crypto-bros?) and exactly the sort of lazy mobile-tier 'castle crashers' attack/defend mechanics that you'd expect from a company willing to clone a much better game and sell it as their own with virtually no mechanical changes besides adding a crime theme, dumbing down the stolen mechanics and adding extra currencies based on reddit punchlines... Oh right, and they ALSO added a premium microtransactional currency for... Honestly, I didn't stick around to see what it was for. Sketchy, sketchy, sketchy. Nothing here promises anything more than cashgrab laziness from the devs. Save yourself the time it takes to get a refund and keep scrolling through the shovelware: This ain't no gem.
I don't mean to crap on the devs dreams, but a lot of people are saying this game "shows serious potential" but I have to disagree. It's an idler/incremental game at it's core, which is fine. If those are well done they can be genuinely enjoyable, but there's not a lot of actual potential there. But the main red flag I see is that it is supposed to be an MMO, and by that the dev means it's basically just another variation of the whole city builder mobile game. Which... I'm thoroughly convinced if you'd played one of those games you've played EVERY.SINGLE.LAST.ONE.OF.THEM. They're all exactly the same crap with a different skin and different features but they're all pretty much the same and if the dev goes that route I give a month from the full release that it just becomes more pay to win garbage like everything else in that genre. Forgive my cynicism but I don't see a whole lot of potential here and if you want to throw 5$ at a game that's been done a million times before and might not even get finished or be worth playing once finishing be my guest.
This game has potential... but it still needs some work, ended up fighting with my computer because could not move any of my desks properly. I would definetly recommend it to any gamer who has a thing for a tycoon games.
Reines Pay to win Spiel. Wer regelmäßig zahlt bei dem läuft alles schneller. Holzauge sei wachsam. Vom Ingameshop stand in der Beschreibung gar nichts. Rückerstattung beantragt.
its basically a mobile game, build stock of "xyz" attack other lands etc
Cool idea, something fresh! And very responsive dev improving the game constantly.
When I was fond of the toys of the "Computer Game Developer" and this game also appealed to me. Only here it’s not really about a game developer, but it’s similar both visually and in gameplay. We acquire premises, hire people, and then we expand our possessions. The game is in early access, many more things will be changed and added.
Pillazon's developer is positioning the game as a business simulator but it rather an idle clicker. So don't be misled. If you're waiting for a full-fledged simulator, it only has some parts of it. You can landscape the space by placing working tables and interior items which serve to uplift the spirit of workers. A moral condition affects on quantity of points that you redeem from workers. Each worker has his own type of points that can be spend on different actions. Without points you can't upgrade your business and sell the drugs. So in order to develop you should manage to make points flow to be even. I tried the game twice. First, I think you should make a possibility to skip the tutorial. I didn't want to pass it but had no choice. Second, possibly I'm not the best manager and tried not so hard but it feels like game's not quietly good balanced. No matter what I tried, financial losses were bigger than an income. So it will come to a bankrupcy with time. Third, it's no clear how much points I will receive in a day (for all the points) and how much I will spend for selling drugs (for errand points). Fourth, the gameplay mostly occupied by buying drugs. I'd like to automate this process in order to free up time for managing. Graphics is nothing outstanding but not a bad overall. Pillazon has some of visual bugs that's tied with item placing. Sometimes you need to remove items because they can't be moved, sometimes items spinning like a whirlabout. Sounds are average too, unannoying music and cartoony voices that's become a bit annoying with time because they're just too much. I can't say nothing bad about interface. It's slightly overloaded with numbers, I think we don't need an accuracy of BTC to 0,00000000001. Buttons on a panel are slightly pale so occasionaly I had to take a closer look on them. There's no possibility to rotate the camera which can be helpful in placing objects. Sometimes inscriptions could go beyond their places. But overall with time you become to get used to all of it. Verdict: Pillazon could be interesting if you're not waiting much from this game. I thought it would be a sim but it rather a clicker. Also I hope that developers will polish some parts like balance and bugs. Let me start off by stating, I did not received this game free at all, and have zero stake in the game. I am just a avid tycoon/mmo gamer that found it searching on steam, and applied for the play test, and took the time to play the pretest for a couple weeks. In the last two weeks, the Dev has fully interacted, listened to every idea, Bugs found and suggestions and implemented them immediately, and let me tell you it was a lot of fixing and updating to bring it to where it is today which is a really nice game. I fully give this a thumbs up. For the price, You cant go wrong. I really like the seasonal leader boards so the game stays fresh, with each season adding new challenges and new ways to progress. I really enjoy the fiance piece, where you have to hire the right employee's for the right price early to sustain for later on. Then control your dirty (Drug) money made from selling drugs, into clean money to keep the police from coming and raiding your shops. its using a live bitcoin rate, where you buy and sell Drugs with Bitcoins, then transfer it to cash when you need it. You must invest in properties to clean your dirty money. This really is not a straight just " buy sell " game, where it has a lot of angles you always need to be monitoring before you go bankrupt and have to start over. All of this, plus you have to grow your user count of the website, so they will continue to buy your drugs and grow the business. Very well done As a start, and this has HUGE potential, and I'm pretty excited to see what and where this game gets developed from. I will state this - Instead of hating on small bugs, issues and complaint on reviews - give the Dev a shot at fixing, or adding idea's first.
