Boring and bad balanced. Story campaign is really short and not challenging, PvP-part is annoying with random and some imbalanced combinations( Sad, it was promising...
This game is entertaining but it is simply not balanced enough for competitive play. Every winning board looks similar late game. Certain unit synergies just don't do anything useful enough to play them over a stronger unsynergized unit. Arena play is very very boring quickly because of lack of diversity. Augments/portals etc would go a long way to making some of the weaker units more playable. I've played none of he campaign so I can't speak for that. If you're looking for a game for competitive multiplayer this just isn't it.

Under cooked, under balanced, overpriced. I got this in a bundle with Backback Battles. I wish I had just bought backpack battles. *6 hour update* a balance patch dropped shortly after my original review. I thought I was perhaps too harsh and this deserved a second look. I have now completed the story, a 10 win arena and a couple of rapture runs (but no 10 win rapture yet). I skipped every cutscene of the story, nothing personal its just not what i'm playing for. But the 8 chapters have a nice pacing, give a contained PVE environment to learn the game and some fun challenges such as completing the chapters with no losses etc. The arena I thought too easy, but it might be mmr based. I'll keep playing and update this another time. Same as above for Rapture. Some things are still very imbalanced, and the pathing of your units can honestly sometimes make 0 sense and are often not consistent. 3/5 at this point. I don't regret the bundle pack purchase as anymore.
超级可爱的画风,目前平衡性仍不完美,但是为了毛茸茸们仍在坚持做每日任务 希望能够推出更多的剧情,爱来自瓷器
Yes
It's pretty good for a smaller game. It is getting regular updates and the devs are pretty active in discord on feedback and balancing.
Enjoyable game that is completely different every run due to the various characters, equipment, etc. Character description tags indicating assassin and so forth would be helpful.
Game is fun and has a lot of personality. The cost is $10 flat, no microtransactions, and grinding is just for cosmetics. I used to play Super Auto Pets but got tired of all the OP builds and frustrating matchups. This game has better balance. Even if some heroes are stronger than others, you get to see your opponent's team and you can reposition yours to beat them even if they're a bit "stronger." Example: Gamer Cat stuns all enemies in a line. On your team, you can put the Gamer Cat wherever he'll be most effective; if he's on the enemy team, you can move all your heroes out of the way. It's all asynchronous so this mechanic can't be used against you, it can only help you. Rarely do I see an enemy team and think "there's no way I can beat this, it's hopeless," usually I think, "how can I position my team to beat this enemy?" There's relatively little randomness to the battles so all in all it keeps frustration from losses low. The campaign story isn't too complex, but it's fun, especially the ending. It's a good way to get started with the game. Aside from the campaign, there's Arena and Rapture, which go to 10 wins and 25 wins, respectively. This actually makes a pretty big difference because Arena values tempo plays, while Rapture is about long-term scaling. For example, a hero that gains 2 attack per turn is obviously way stronger in Rapture than Arena. On the other hand, a hero that spawns in 2+ extra units at the start of the fight can give you the boost to get to 10 wins, but in Rapture would be weaker against scaled AoE heroes. The game is being updated about once a month, and the devs are active in the discord server, so the game is getting better over time. As of April 2025, two new families have been released, Amphibians and Mustelids. Complaints: The game does have a few problems. If you're interested in the hero stories, you'd better hope they reduce the tome costs because right now the later lore entries are way too expensive. 500 tomes for a couple sentences sucks. There's no 1v1 feature so you can't have a live matchup with a friend. Ranking high on the leaderboard is more about playing a lot rather than being the best. The number of players is on the smaller side so you might be going up against a team you've seen before. Conclusion: I like this game a lot and I've been playing it daily for a while now. Partly it's because there are daily missions (which are easy to complete) but partly because there's a lot of variety in gameplay. If you want to make the strongest team possible, you can do that. If you want to mix it up and try different heroes, you can do that too.
