I KNOW... it just came out, but for how long it took to drop this?! straight buns... I'd put deathground AND this game in the same category if I had to separate them into tiers of dukey. I just wouldn't be able to fit it all in a paragraph what's wrong with it... don't waste your succulent delectable dollars on this, just go get food.
I'm pretty sure this game had potential but the game is completely broken, even just doing and setting up the menus are broken, it doesn't even feel like a horror game either, i do not recommend this game

At least in single player, the game is awesome! Gorgeous, atmospheric, good tension. Love that you can choose 1st or 3rd person view. I've wanted a game like this for a long time, and I don't even play survival horrors. For a two man team, amazing job!
As a Jurassic Park fan this is just the type of game i have been wanting! A Dino park where you unlock more and more parts of the park with keys, and truly feel the aftermath of the... inevitable. Its not perfect, dont expect AAA graphics, but its a GREAT indie dino horror game! LOTS of cool details that surprised me! There's many times where I thought "wow this is cool". And it feels a bit old school because it doesn't hold your hand too much. The game has just enough jumpscares and has some great puzzles. I cant wait to get further :) PS: They even have a tribute to Sam Neil ingame (Dr. Grant in JP). LOVED that! <3
My verdict on Clawed after 20 hours of playtime: Pros: - Dinosaur park concept - Atmosphere - Park size - Crafting Cons: - Performance - Sound - Linear dino AI - Controls (why can't you hip-fire?) - Bugs (so many bugs!) - Multiplayer issues (quest progress, spawn system, sudden inventory loss upon rejoining, loss of materials from storage crates) We’ve currently put 20 hours into co-op and reached the end—all quests done, all collectibles gathered. But now we can't finish the game. I don't want to spoil anything... Unfortunately, I can't recommend the game in this state—especially not at this price point! To me, there are too many elements that haven't been fully developed or implemented. It's a shame! The concept is great, but the execution falls short!
this game sucks
This feels like a game that they created a pretty good environmental world, and then tried to make a game out of it very quickly and sloppily. You can tell that the devs did not even play a single playthrough of their own game with how many bugs and clunkiness is in the game. And once you die once, so many bugs happen. Multiplayer has weird loading where the person that is not the host can load at the beginning of the game and have their respawn point reset to the beginning of the game. You also reset the world with enemies and loot respawning. But there is nowhere enough ammo to be able to kill the dinosaurs, let alone run away from them to progress. Even the UI has bugs, the compass often stops working after a death. There are ledges or spots where the Dino AI stops chasing you at. You lose your task/quests after dying once, so you can't reference what your objectives actually are. You can also accidentally hit a future respawn point in a house that you do not have the key to even get out of yet, needing to restart the game again. With so many glaring bugs in just the first few hours, is really is highly doubtful the developer even played their game with an actual playthrough. At most, they likely just loaded specific scenes one at a time and did the bare minimum testing, if at all. At this point, I would not be surprised if they just had AI code the game for them, as several bugs are so obvious and pronounced that you cannot miss finding more than a dozen in under a single hour of playing the game. Cool concept, good world although could be further improved, but very very bad gameplay design and coding leading to numerous game breaking bugs that can soft lock you.
I would very much recommend this game but I cant stand the coop in it the tasks never work for me when I join my friend everything I rejoin his game the next day my inventory is always gone and my weapons are gone aswell as my ammo that part makes me not want to play at all
Now let me say, this game has potential but at this current moment its a buggy walking simulator at best. One of the worst optimized games I've played in a while. Just give this game like 3 months and then buy it, don't waste your money
Multiplayer freaking sucks. The demo was better than the finished game. This is a cool idea but the execution sucks. None of the puzzle prompts work very well. Spent 10 minutes trying to press E to fill a tube and couldn't get it because the E prompt kept disappearing. If I wasn't passed the 2 hour mark I'd refund this game.
