I would very much recommend this game but I cant stand the coop in it the tasks never work for me when I join my friend everything I rejoin his game the next day my inventory is always gone and my weapons are gone aswell as my ammo that part makes me not want to play at all
Multiplayer freaking sucks. The demo was better than the finished game. This is a cool idea but the execution sucks. None of the puzzle prompts work very well. Spent 10 minutes trying to press E to fill a tube and couldn't get it because the E prompt kept disappearing. If I wasn't passed the 2 hour mark I'd refund this game.

My verdict on Clawed after 20 hours of playtime: Pros: - Dinosaur park concept - Atmosphere - Park size - Crafting Cons: - Performance - Sound - Linear dino AI - Controls (why can't you hip-fire?) - Bugs (so many bugs!) - Multiplayer issues (quest progress, spawn system, sudden inventory loss upon rejoining, loss of materials from storage crates) We’ve currently put 20 hours into co-op and reached the end—all quests done, all collectibles gathered. But now we can't finish the game. I don't want to spoil anything... Unfortunately, I can't recommend the game in this state—especially not at this price point! To me, there are too many elements that haven't been fully developed or implemented. It's a shame! The concept is great, but the execution falls short!
I loved the demo! I replayed many, many times. Now that I have the game I love it even more. It does have its bugs, BUT the developers are working quickly on getting them resolved. I will be playing another playthrough after these minor updates. Probably even more as the major FREE updates roll out. Overall, please give this game a go. You won't be disappointed!
3 stars with how it is right now good story. needs work on collision and things like dinos able to clip through buildings and attack you and doors on the trams\monorail close as your riding and knock you off or get stuck once patched this game has potential and i will continue watching with great interest
ich find es ein gutes spiel, einzig und allein find ich es schade dass es nicht auf Deutsch ist. Sonst bin ich zufrieden auch mit dem Preis
This game really has the potential. All the bugs and so on are a shame, but what can you expect from such a big open-world game with a lot of details? My personal opinion is that this game is peak. I'm a dinosaur nerd and a horror fan, so this is something just for me. This game caught me off guard so many times with the details and the anatomy of the dinosaur species. This game really makes you use your brain, and I both love and hate it so much (in a good way). Of course, some of the bugs had me tweaking a bit from time to time, but I managed to make it work. I also only have positive things to say about the development team. They answered my email in less than 24 hours about a bug and fixed it in less than 48 hours. If you want to play a game without bugs, then wait until all the bugs are located and fixed, and give this game a chance, because it truly is an amazing game. Not everything will be perfect from the start, but no matter what, this game had me sweating and even crying at some point. No spoilers, but... (Deinosuchus). That's all I'm gonna say. This game could really scare me from time to time, and I love it!
**0/10 – In its current state, this should never have been released** As of 26 August 2026, this game is not playable in any acceptable sense. I do not mean “a little buggy” or normal indie jank. Fundamental systems required to play and complete it simply do not work reliably. That is especially frustrating because we wanted this to be good. The demo suggested the finished game would deliver exactly that and, absurdly, seemed more stable than the product we eventually paid for. Usually the release improves on the demo. Here it somehow feels reversed. We played two-player co-op and genuinely tried to make it work. We restarted, reloaded, replayed sections, changed who activated switches, reconected, abused broken collision and crawled through walls to bypass other broken systems. At the Marine Center even that stopped working. We were not beaten by dinosaurs or a puzzle. We were beaten by the software. Saving does not work reliably. You can save, die, reload or restart and appear at the beginning again, sometimes without your items, with a different inventory or at a checkpoint apparently selected by lottery. In co-op, items disappear, move between players or simply cease to exist. The game seems to save several realities and choose one when loading. The task system makes this even more ridiculous. We were told more than 50 times that we had “discovered” the same shelter. Not 50 shelters. The same one. Tasks appeared at completely wrong times, some several times, one around five times and another what felt like 100 times in succession. We even recieved tasks from later parts we had not reached and had no clues for. Maps collected for orientaiton can simply vanish. Apparently the save, task and inventory systems are competing over who can remember the least. Dinosaurs can randomly respawn after being killed, sometimes within seconds and sometimes directly beside or effectively inside the player. Raptors treat gravity and pathfinding as optional guidelines. They glide, snap around and can basically fly. Apparently I continue to demand too much. Collision is equally impressive. You can accidentally walk through walls and geometry, which became useful because we used one bug to bypass another. Unfortunately, progression-critical gates can remain closed despite power, an activated lever and a green indicator. Everything says “door open”. Door: no. No alternative route, no reset. Just a green light next to a closed gate, politely informing you that the interface and game world are no longer on speaking terms. Restarting would be fine if it were reliable. Instead the broken door sends you back into the broken save system, which may load the wrong checkpoint, remove items or return you to the beginning. Then you replay broken spawns and tasks to reach the door again and hope it has devleoped an interest in being a door this time. At least the bugs understand teamwork. Powered networks and secured areas have the same issue. Activated systems can behave differently after loading, states fail to persist and areas that should be accessible suddenly are not. Did the checkpoint reset? Did the power state disappear? Did co-op synchronization break? Should we reload, and what will reloading destroy this time? You cannot solve puzzles when you cannot trust the game to follow its own rules. Then there are the boats. Humanity has used them for several thousand years, but apparently we remain in early access as a species. They can throw the player back, refuse proper interaction and when leaving them sometimes teleport you to the starting area. By this point the game had stopped being a dinosaur adventure and become software troubleshooting. We continued because we wanted to see the rest. Inventory disappears, dinosaur spawns inside you, same task again, wrong checkpoint, green door stays closed, restart, repeat. Eventually the frustration ceiling is reached. Ours was apparently quite high. The game still found it. We wanted to keep playing and the game itself convinced us not to. The developers have acknowledged serious issues involving co-op, respawning, collision and saving. You discover them through the radical testing methodology of playing normally. How do you test saving without loading, progression without restarting or boats without getting out of them? Apparently we were unknowingly hired as QA. The demo makes this worse. Had it behaved like the release, I simply would not have bought the game. Instead, the free preview created confidence in a product whose paid version spent hours dismantling it. Ending that process with customers nostalgically remembering the demo's stability is quite the reverse development pipeline. There were years of development and multiple delays. I do not criticize delays. Delay it six months or a year. I would rather wait than pay for an unfinished product. But the point is supposedly to avoid releasing exactly this. After all that time, saving, checkpoints, inventories, tasks, co-op synchronization, spawning, collision, boats and doors are unreliable, while some raptors have discovered aviation. Then there is the wonderfully unfortunate fact that the beginning works reasonably well. You become invested before the serious problems accumulate, by which point Steam's normal refund window may be considerably less useful. I have no evidence this is intentional and I am not claiming it is. But the irony is spectacular. The part required to persuade you to keep playing works better than what comes once your money and time are already committed. Truly unfortunate timing. The Community page asks for constructive criticism, which is almost satirical. Fine: when a player saves, perhaps save the game. When a checkpoint is reached, load it. Let players keep their items. When a task is completed, maybe avoid issuing it another hundred times. Let shelters remain discovered and collected maps remain collected. When a lever turns green, open the door. When someone exits a boat, leave them near it. When an enemy dies, let it remain dead. And walls, as a general design suggestion could remain solid. I hope that is constructive enough. We paid around €20 for this. I can debug software, but generally I prefer being the person who gets paid for it. This is a commercial release after years of development and delays. I am not demanding AAA graphics. I am asking for the save button to save, the task list to know which tasks I have and progression-criticial doors to open. Apparently that requries clarification. Maybe patches will eventually turn this into the game the demo suggested it could be. But I am reviewing what is sold now. Two players who genuinely wanted to continue and repeatedly worked around its problems eventually had to stop because the game itself made progression impossible. Current rating: 0/10. Releasing it like this is embarrasing. Charging for it is difficult to justify. Asking customers for constructive criticism while they perform basic QA on saving, respawning, tasks, inventories, collision and progression is almost comedy. DO NOT BUY IT RIGHT NOW. P.S.: Since recent patches seem remarkably interested in comparatively minor issues while saving, progression, task logic and co-op persistence remain experimental, perhaps you could make the water slides usable while you are at it. My girlfriend had the perfectly normal wish that the water slides in a dinosaur park might actually work and I would genuinely like her to get at least one thing she wanted from this experience. If there is time to fix the equivalent of a graphical artifact on a decorative panel in Quadrant Q17, perhaps functional water slides could fit between that and the next vital texture adjustment. At least then one part of the park could fail to advance the story on purpose.
I'm one of the friends that played with firebird2839. This game runs like garbage, crashed my computer to black screen, and sent me into a rage from the terrible optimization. Played at Low graphics and I still could not get up to 60fps. This game, in it's current state, should be extinct.
