Between this Marathon and new marathon, classic marathon is 10000000X better
I was initially interested in playing Classic Marathon from a reddit comment by u/Azetus, which reads, "I still hold that the player's relationship with Durandal is the best fictional example of Stockholm Syndrome there has ever been." While an exaggeration, it’s pretty accurate. The rouge AI's poetic musings on freedom, violence, and choice are intoxicating. You will find yourself rooting for the villain and being invested in every other part of this game. It is very easy to see why this game has maintained relevance in the minds of players for over 30 years, and now I am one of them.

The nicest thing I can say about it was that it is free.

As a Zoomer, Marathon is pretty cool.
this game deadnamed me
its like an immersive sim if being a ♥♥♥♥ game was the experience
I played the original back in the day. made my own maps and had a blast with it. fun game! I think the Devs for Aleph One could resell this as a VR game for the Quest 3. but not being a programmer myself, I'm not sure what that would entail.
Pretty awesome game since I was 14
masterpiece. 2 is pretty good as well, but this is by far the best of the trilogy. the atmosphere is unmatched. aleph one did an amazing job enhancing this game.
