Class of Heroes 2G: Remaster Edition is a deliberately old-school dungeon-crawling RPG that places preparation, party construction, exploration, and gradual character development above cinematic spectacle. Developed by Zerodiv and published by PQube and ACQUIRE Corp., the game sends aspiring adventurers through the doors of Crostini Academy, where students train to become capable heroes. Its cheerful academy premise provides an appealing contrast to the dangerous labyrinths waiting outside, creating an adventure that can look inviting while still demanding considerable patience and strategic thinking. The strongest element is the freedom offered when assembling a party. Players can create a group of six students, choosing from 10 races and 18 classes with their own characteristics and abilities. Alignment adds another consideration to party development, meaning that creating an effective team involves more than selecting whichever characters appear strongest. A balanced group needs characters capable of dealing damage, surviving prolonged encounters, supporting companions, and handling the different problems encountered during exploration. This degree of customization makes experimentation rewarding because two players can approach the same labyrinth with substantially different parties. Dungeon exploration forms the backbone of the experience. With more than 100 labyrinth maps and over 250 potential enemies advertised on the Steam page, there is a substantial amount of territory and opposition to overcome. The environments use twisting passages, changing terrain, and maze-like layouts that encourage deliberate exploration. Enemies can threaten the party while moving through these locations, so venturing deeper into a labyrinth carries genuine risk. This structure produces an enjoyable expedition rhythm in which entering a dungeon, gathering resources, surviving battles, and safely returning becomes almost as important as completing individual objectives. Combat works particularly well because it is closely connected to everything players do outside battle. Success depends heavily on preparation rather than simply possessing high-level characters. Weapons, armor, accessories, abilities, and party composition can dramatically affect how well students perform against increasingly dangerous opponents. Smaller enemies may be manageable without extensive planning, but stronger creatures expose weaknesses in an improperly constructed party. This gives progression a satisfying strategic quality. Improving a struggling group and eventually defeating monsters that previously seemed overwhelming provides some of the game's most rewarding moments. Equipment and crafting further strengthen this progression loop. Exploring labyrinths provides items and materials that can become useful resources, while collected recipes allow players to craft weapons, potions, and other upgrades. Consequently, even an expedition that produces little narrative progress can still contribute toward strengthening the team. There is an appealing sense of accumulation as resources gathered during one adventure help prepare students for the next. Players who enjoy inventory management, equipment optimization, crafting, and incremental statistical improvements will have plenty of systems to investigate. The academy theme also gives the game more personality than a purely mechanical dungeon crawler might possess. Crostini Academy serves as the foundation for the student's transformation from inexperienced recruits into accomplished adventurers, while different schools introduce additional characters and courses. Quests provide reasons to continue exploring, and inter-dimensional travel expands the adventure beyond a straightforward sequence of conventional fantasy caves. The story is ultimately more supportive of the gameplay systems than the primary attraction, but the educational framing cleverly complements character classes, training, progression, and party development. Its greatest strength can simultaneously become its largest obstacle. Class of Heroes 2G: Remaster Edition expects players to become comfortable with numerous interconnected systems. Creating characters, managing equipment, understanding classes, collecting materials, crafting items, navigating labyrinths, and preparing for difficult encounters require considerably more involvement than a streamlined modern RPG. Players looking for rapid progression or constant narrative rewards may find the pace demanding. Repetition is inherent to the dungeon-crawling structure, and returning to familiar activities can occasionally make progress feel laborious. The remastered presentation makes the game easier to approach on contemporary hardware without abandoning its traditional identity. Anime-inspired character artwork and colorful fantasy imagery give the adventure a pleasant visual character, while the underlying mechanics retain the systematic nature of classic dungeon crawlers. The game supports English and Japanese interface text and subtitles, with Japanese full audio. It is primarily a single-player experience, allowing players to progress at their own pace and spend as much time as necessary developing their preferred collection of students. What ultimately determines whether Class of Heroes 2G: Remaster Edition succeeds for a particular player is their appetite for methodical RPG progression. It is not designed around instant gratification. Much of the enjoyment comes from understanding its systems, correcting weaknesses in a party, obtaining better equipment, crafting useful supplies, learning labyrinth layouts, and watching initially vulnerable students become competent adventurers. The sheer combination of races, classes, alignments, equipment, recipes, enemies, and dungeon layouts provides significant room for experimentation. Class of Heroes 2G: Remaster Edition is therefore an appealing preservation of a demanding style of Japanese dungeon RPG. Zerodiv delivers considerable customization and exploration depth, while PQube and ACQUIRE Corp. bring the experience to modern PC players without stripping away the qualities that define it. Some mechanics and progression elements can feel dated or cumbersome, and its repetitive nature will limit its appeal among players seeking a more immediately accessible JRPG. For dungeon-crawler enthusiasts who enjoy party optimization, dangerous expeditions, crafting, resource management, and steady long-term progression, however, it offers a substantial adventure with plenty of strategic possibilities. For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
