Game isn't the best, It's fun the first time, but the other difficulties the AIs throw combos that are too fast making it impossible to keep it for new players, I swear they're just making blocks appear. Call me trash but I'm 50+ loses in Emilys playthrough and I been stuck on the cop level for god knows how long, bro just throws insanes combos and your own doesn't even effect him just and your own combos get added onto your side making you lose. I feel like thats a bug but who knows. I want to enjoy the game like the first 3 games but I can't.
I loved the first two class of 09 games to death and was desperately hoping that this game would improve on the disaster that was Flipside but in reality it's just as bad as Flipside. The game is painfully difficult and unfair once you get to the harder levels. (Specifically Ari and Emily's campaigns) Seriously what the hell was SBN3 thinking with creating the AI for the game. 90% of the matches you do win are gonna be based on pure luck because the game expects you to have the reaction time of The Flash. The AI will chain combos in mere seconds and give you little to no time to recover. The characters are also the most basic and surface level versions of themselves and the story is extremely lackluster. I would highly recommend not getting this game but if you do want to buy it at least wait for it to go on sale.

The game is so difficult I was driven mad. Screw Kelly, screw The Chustler, and screw The Puzzler. 14 hours non-stop and I've yet to touch Marathon mode. 10/10 would go crazy again. On a more serious note, I really enjoyed having to learn something almost completely new and trying different ways to beat either the Kelly levels or the main Campaign either through sheer luck or skill. The soundtrack was incredible and was definitely saving my sanity during my playthrough. Lastly i'm always a sucker for more animated story and the final cutscene left me shocked and wanting more. Can't wait to see what this series has in store.
The game is decent, but when things start getting hard, they get way too intensely hard. The main story campaign difficulty becomes ridiculous and unfair that it's not even a skill issue, it's more so having to be at the mercy of the rng to go in your favor which is slim. One of the other modes becomes harder and unfair as things speed up. When things speed up you can lose within 2 seconds which is enough to say this game needs balancing. I don't think a game should rely on bad rng and super speed to complete it.
the difficulty level is too crazy ive seen ai legit skip blocks high to hit an insane combos.
basically class of 09 dialogue with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ puzzles i wouldn't have refunded it if it wasn't $20 tbf and basically all the endings are max 5 seconds long and makes the puzzles just not worth it
Played the game for a while and I've seen this be debated a lot. This is all coming from a huge fan of the games. (TLDR; If you're a fan of the visual novel like games and want interactions like them, watch videos, don't buy) If you are someone like me who comes from the first three games, watch a playthrough on the small bits of interactions this game has. Don't buy it, if you do, get it if it goes on sale. It wasn't objectively bad, in fact if you're into games like Panel de Pon and a fan of the first three games, I'd say get it. But like I stated, if you're coming for things like lore and more interactions, watch videos on it. There's little interactions between characters, some of which just being repeated anyway, there's a couple funny moments though. The game gets very RNG dependent towards the final levels, sometimes I'd lose within twenty seconds, others I'd win within twenty seconds, then sometimes it just went on for like three minutes. The side campaign shoves a lot of nudity in your face so if you wanna play it for that ig that's for you. No way to disable it, I opted to just cover it with something like livesplit
Yeah, there is less dialouge than in the "main" games, but its still hilarious and i liked the puzzles. It DOES get difficult towards the last two campaigns and you will need to be very fast. Kelly's weekend game mode is definitely a fun twist too. I'm happy about it
This game feels like the common cold except it costs £20 and little bit of self-worth.
This game is less about "who has more skill?" and more "who has the better blocks at the start?"
