It's rare to see a game take such a simple idea and make it feel fresh
Sounds like a silly mobile game, but the arena movement is actually insanely deep. Building up momentum as a Rock and using the walls to bounce and intercept a fleeing Paper is peak strategy. The thrill of the chase is so real. 'Just one more match' is a lie.
wasn't expecting much depth from the concept, but the gameplay is surprisingly engaging
I only bought this because it was cheap on sale. Best impulse purchase I've made this year. The hide-and-seek mechanics are actually really tense, and the movement feels incredibly smooth. Devs clearly care about this project.
Playing as Paper is actually genuinely terrifying. You're just sprinting for your life, and you can literally hear/see this massive Rock building up speed and rolling right at you. The adrenaline rush when you barely dodge at the last second is unmatched.
Not worth full price. It's a neat gimmick that would have been perfect as a free mobile game, but charging $1 for this? There's no progression, no unlocks, no modes. Wait for a 90% off sale lol.
Turning a childhood game into a 3d battle royale is pure genius, but the execution feels a bit rough around the edges right now. It desperately needs progression and smoother mechanics to keep people playing.
It's 3 AM, I have work tomorrow, and I am currently sweating profusely while trying to out-roll a Paper. This game is an absolute disease and I love it. Send help.
Once a Rock gets a speed boost from rolling downhill, it's game over. There's no way for a Paper to fight back if the Rock has momentum. You just get run over from across the map and there's literally nothing you can do. Needs a dash or shield mechanic.
Fun for a single laugh, but it needs serious mechanical overhauls to be an actual game.
