Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
About

Raise a city from the ground up and transform it into the thriving metropolis only you can imagine. You've never experienced building on this scale. With deep simulation and a living economy, Cities: Skylines II delivers world-building without limits.
Lay the foundations for your city to begin. Create the roads, infrastructure, and systems that make life possible day to day. It's up to you – all of it.
How your city grows is your call too, but plan strategically. Every decision has an impact. Can you energize local industries while also using trade to boost the economy? What will make residential districts flourish without killing the buzz downtown? How will you meet the needs and desires of citizens while balancing the city's budget?
Your city never rests. Like any living, breathing world, it changes over time. Some changes will be slow and gradual, while others will be sudden and unexpected. So while seasons turn and night follows day, be ready to act when life doesn't go to plan.
The most realistic and detailed city builder ever, Cities: Skylines II pushes your creativity and problem-solving to another level. With beautifully rendered high-resolution graphics, it also inspires you to build the city of your dreams.

AI and intricate economics mean your choices ripple through the fabric of the city. Remember that as you strategize, problem-solve, and react to change, challenges, and opportunities.

Cities: Skylines II lets you create without compromise. Now you can build sky-high and sprawl across the map like never before. Why not? Your city is you.

Your decisions shape each citizen's life path, a chain of events that defines who they are. From love and loss to wealth and wellbeing, follow their life's ups and downs.

Pick a map to set the climate of your city. These are the natural forces you'll negotiate to expand your city amid rising pollution, changeable weather, and seasonal challenges.

Reviews
its a fun game but has such horrible frame time spikes near constantly you can always feel how jittery the game performs as well as it crashing my GPU drivers on multiple occasions other than the frankly horrible performance it otherwise is a great game
Every time I come back, I just end up crying over how much progress I lose when the game crashes. Doesn't matter the hardware, the mods, the configuration. The game is heartbreaking.

Of the 5 markets with a position on both sides, 5 climbed and 0 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game is constantly improving, you can't ask for much more than that. While it may still lag slightly behind CS1 today, at it's core it's a much more sophisticated city builder. I personally played over 1k hours on CS1 and don't see myself ever opening it again because of what CS2 is today and especially because of what it will become moving forward!
The game has zero performance. Additionally, this is supposed to be a simulation city-building game. Well... it's not. You need to rely on mods for basic road network management.
First and foremost, I enjoy Cities Skylines, overall the game was good, and I have played this one over 300 hours, which is far less than Cities Skylines 1. This game has so much potential, but over the last month, this game is processing ability has gone way down. I generally do not do many reviews, as my opinion will change. But As right now this is were I stand. This games requires so much but gives back so little, before posting this I spent an hour (HOUR) adjusting gameplay settings to see if Could get the speed controls to work again. Which never happened. I am currently have uninstalled this game, and will be leaving it uninstalled for the time being. Maybe things will improve for this game in the future, I hope so.
It has updated so much since it came out. It is now very playable (with a few mods) and I would recomend to anyone who wants to create any type of city.
Its patched and works correctly now that the new studio has it but the gameplay loop lacks towards the mid-end game.
