The controls and flow of gameplay in this game is horrible but I (unfortunately) held off on refunding in hopes that they would make some optimization and content updates that would help. The game is cute and has a cozy premise so I was really looking forward to it. Instead, they came out with a new game that just looks like a better version of the one they were already selling so I regret buying this version at all.

A great game to play with the wife or husbun.

Bunhouse is an incredibly charming and cozy little game. The concept of running a greenhouse with adorable bunnies is instantly appealing, and the overall vibe is wholesome, relaxing, and easy to fall in love with. The visuals are delightful, the atmosphere is comforting, and you can clearly see the potential for it to become a standout cozy sim. However, the controls feel clunky and the gameplay is very primitive, which makes the experience less smooth than it should be. Actions that should feel intuitive—like tending plants, moving items, or interacting with objects—often come across as awkward and sluggish. This lack of polish in the controls keeps the game from reaching its full potential. Bunhouse could evolve into one of the most endearing and addictive cozy games out there. As it stands, it’s an adorable idea wrapped in primitive execution—one that will hopefully grow into something even more rewarding with time.

I would actually recommend this game, but I’ve been really disappointed ever since I bought it The game is way too expensive for the little content it has. I think I’ve had the game since 2022. I played it a bit back then and decided to wait until the developers added more content so I could get my money’s worth. But I went to play it now in 2026, and the game just looks exactly the same as it did in 2022. So that’s it, the game is cute, but it gets boring very quickly.

I bought this game for myself and my partner, and when we got into actually playing it (separate computers and talking over discord about it.) They got less than 10 minutes in and I got 16 minutes, we requested a refund for both, but denied, since it was purchased more than 2 weeks ago. I was hoping that I could play this with my wired xbox controller, because it does state that it is fully compatible with it, come to find out that I cant move around, I cant select anything in the customization using it. Frustrating and highly disappointing. Refunded our games because we both agreed that this was not user friendly. Even if I was trying with my controller, and they were trying on the keyboard. Also to make note, I wish that the settings were accessible during the beginning, because it throws you into the customizing part as soon as you start the game. The volume was loud. We had to go through customizing and then we could hit ESC to mess with the settings. Otherwise cute looking game, was really hoping for better I guess. Shame that we have to keep this game. We wont ever play it again.

This game is so chill. I love watching the plants grow and flower. Learning what I need to do for my plants while planning my next shipment of supplies, it seems like a lot at first. I love that there are shiny varieties for plants too. Shiny hunting? Yup. There are easter eggs to find, codes to look up, and statues to dig up. Hop on in with a friend and grow some vibes! I also recommend their next game, Cinna Bunny. It's all about baking up some fun. I'm playing both on the Deck.

This game is SO cute and SO sweet but it's also really good and really well made! I expected the cute bunnies to be the gimmick and that the rest of the game play would suck because of it. Most developers would let the bunnies carry the experience, but not this game. The controls are well managed and everything makes sense. It's easy to lose hours to this game and it's so soothing and relaxing, more than most other games! I only have two complaints, and they are so minor. 1) It is a pretty wikipedia heavy game if you want to find EVERYTHING, and there is no wikipedia. This is mostly solved by the developer making a google doc wiki and posting it in the discussions tab though! So still a bit wiki heavy, but there is a place to double check. 2) Getting that last secret achievement too SO long. I spent at least 6 hours grinding for it. [spoiler]The achievement is to get 100k carrots and buy the golden carrot, but the most valuable plant is only 120 carrots and it costs 20 carrots to buy it. I sold 1,127 of those plants to get the achievement, and it took FOREVER.[/spoiler] That being said, it's a really fun game, and I'm really excited to start over and make a new farm that isn't achievement based so I can make it super pretty and hop around! I would recommend most people who like this kind of game try it. It has the crop management of stardew valley (but better) and some building mechanics that feel surprisingly like the sims (again, but better). If you like farming sims, job sims, or resource management games BUY THIS!!!! Honestly if you like the trailer video, you will LOVE the game so get it!!! I'd even say it's worth full price, but it has good sales too!
