Chuck’s Challenge 3D 2020, developed and published by Niffler Ltd., is a modern evolution of the puzzle traditions established by Chip’s Challenge, a game created by the same designer decades earlier. At its heart, it is a tile-based puzzle adventure where players take control of Woop, a quirky purple alien summoned by Chuck, and guide him through a series of intricate levels filled with traps, switches, hazards, and clever environmental obstacles. The game retains the spirit of classic puzzle design while enhancing it with a 3D presentation, robust customization tools, and an active layer of community-driven content. The game includes a substantial amount of content out of the box, offering six official packs totaling 150 levels, each one introducing new mechanics or testing previously learned concepts in inventive ways. The levels are carefully structured so that even early puzzles feel satisfying, while later ones require careful planning, multi-step solutions, and precise movement. For players who want even more, additional downloadable packs expand the total significantly. What makes the experience more dynamic is the way levels vary across difficulty categories. Some puzzles are approachable and meant to teach mechanics, while others can be tough challenges that demand trial-and-error, patience, and outside-the-box thinking. One of the strongest features of Chuck’s Challenge 3D 2020 is its integration of community tools. The built-in level editor gives players access to dozens of different elements, ranging from movable blocks to pressure plates and hostile creatures, and the Steam Workshop support makes it easy to share and discover new creations. This ensures that the game can be as long-lasting as its community is active. Weekly highlighted puzzles provide a constant trickle of fresh experiences, so even after completing the official levels, players are never short on content. For fans of creative design, this editor is not just an extra feature but a core reason to return to the game. The presentation balances clarity and style. Though built with a 3D engine, the game preserves a clean, grid-based look that emphasizes readability over flashy detail. Levels can be rotated and viewed from different angles, which adds both practical utility and a modern touch to what could otherwise feel like a dated format. The soundtrack complements the puzzle-solving with mellow, pleasant tunes, and for those who enjoy it, a separate soundtrack DLC is available. While the visuals are not cutting-edge, they succeed in creating a playful and consistent tone that matches the game’s quirky character designs. Gameplay is made more accessible by features like the undo button, which allows players to roll back mistakes rather than restart entire levels. This is particularly helpful when experimenting with solutions, though using the feature adds a time penalty, keeping the challenge intact for those aiming for efficient completions. The balance between forgiving design and maintaining tension is well considered, though difficulty spikes still occur. Some puzzles can feel unexpectedly punishing, and while the undo option helps, players chasing perfect runs may find themselves redoing sequences repeatedly. Despite its strengths, the game has some drawbacks. The interface, carried over from earlier iterations, has been criticized for feeling clunky or overly simplistic, with oversized menu buttons that hint at mobile or console roots. The requirement of being connected online in certain scenarios has frustrated some players who prefer fully offline play. Performance is generally smooth, but occasional bugs and visual quirks have been noted, particularly on lower-end systems. The narrative framing is intentionally lighthearted, and while this suits the gameplay, the writing and character interactions can sometimes feel unnecessary or distracting. Reception from players has been positive overall, with most praising the wealth of puzzles, the community-driven longevity, and the nostalgic tie to a classic puzzle series. Steam reviews highlight the variety of challenges and the replayability offered by user-generated levels as major strengths, though criticisms often focus on the repetitive nature of the visuals and the unevenness of certain puzzles. For long-time fans of puzzle games, it has been recognized as a worthy successor to Chip’s Challenge, while newcomers find it approachable yet demanding enough to provide a lasting test of problem-solving skills. Ultimately, Chuck’s Challenge 3D 2020 is a thoughtfully designed puzzle experience that bridges old-school mechanics with modern accessibility and customization. It thrives on the strength of its level design and the creativity of its community, offering hundreds of puzzles to solve and countless more to create. While not without its rough edges in terms of interface and occasional difficulty spikes, it stands as a rewarding game for anyone who enjoys logic-based challenges and the satisfaction of overcoming carefully crafted obstacles. It is both a homage to a classic and a forward-looking title that continues to evolve through its community. Rating: 8/10

bug太多了。玩得很困难。明明通关了半天无法退出或者点下一关或者退出或者回到主页,就一直卡在那里。如果bug修复我会考虑改成推荐。
ok so the music grinds my gears after dying in the same point of the same level 500000 times there is a bit of an annoying lag with movement the new medal system means you really need to work to get anything other than bronze but simple, fun puzzle games AND the new menu is 500 times better than it used to be. woohoo!
Это лучшая игра на часы прохождения. Для тех кто любит ретро и хардкорные головоломки подойдет. Просто шикарная игра! Геймплей - https://youtu.be/XfohcZopoi0

Awesome game! It´s like a modern version of Chip's Challenge.
BlytzDragon Gaming Zone
Steam and Discord Group and Curator Great Game It's Sokoban, but with way more content, a bunch of level variety and a cute purple alien who can wear hats. Some of the levels have multiple solutions and includes a rewind feature to fix mistakes.
Really nice game for new players and fans of the classic Chip's Challenge alike. Tons of fun levels, along with an editor to make your own! Some of these puzzles will have you scratching your head for hours. I love it!
