Did beat the game in under 3 hours. Here`s how: Since lower enemies dont attac outposts, build as much outposts you can as fast as you can where minerals are. Put mines down at every source. Only defend your main hub with like 4 rocket launchers. In this way, you stack up on ressources and if you reach wave 20, shut down all defenses and let the bigger ships destroy your main hub and die with maximum resources. Use your research points to research outpost storage capacity increase and mineral production. You very quick scale to 500k minerals at the end of round 20 or so in your bank when you researched that two things to 100%, which grants you enough research points to get everything to 100%. Once you researched everything, plant down 8 outposts around your main hub, which grants you basically unlimited income and spam rocket launchers, torpedo launchers, fighter and bomber hubs. Wave 100 is the end with a gigant ship and because you have unlimited resources, you spam rocket launchers in front of it until is goes poof. You won in under 3 hours. Some suggestions for the developer: Make all enemies attack every building equally. Dial the resources/research point ratio back a bit. Make the minerals count in the rocks unlimited so they last till the end so they stay a vital source of resources. Dial the automatic resource gain from outposts way down. Appart from that, since you keep your research points no matter the point in the game you die, the incentive to think about strategy appar from "how to die with maximum resources" is pretty much zero. Maybe create waypoints you have to reach to keep your research points that progress into later waves with your actual research. But its a nice game, thumb up.

Follow The Cpt Froggy Club Curator Page for plenty more!
You’re the commander of a space station deep in the depths of space, mining asteroids for crystals containing chroniton particles. While mining one of the asteroids you find an alien spaceship, after digging out the parts they’re transported to your space station. Something then happens, an accident of some sorts, when you come around you find that you’re in an unknown place and time. Luckily for you there are still some asteroids containing the chroniton particles which will help you get back home. However, it’s seems you not alone, incoming alien vessels head towards you and your station. They don’t seem to be here to help so, the only way you’re going to get home is to defeat every single alien ship which dwells in this region of space. You need to protect your space station from one hundred continuous waves of alien spaceship attacks. Your space station is situated in the centre of the screen and the alien ships will attack from all directions. To begin with the alien ships are small and attack in small numbers but as you progress, they’ll attack in bigger ships and numbers. This won’t be easy, and you will succumb to the alien attacks many times before you can go home. In the top centre of the screen is your current Resources Stored and Max Storage Limit and Grid Power Load and Max Grid Power Limit. It also displays the current wave you’re on here, although as things start to get hectic you may just totally forget about what wave you’re on. The bottom centre of the screen display each of the nine building you can create to protect your station. These buildings are Power Node, Mining Station, Power Generator, Outpost, Projectile Tower, Particle Tower, Launcher Tower, Squadron Base and Service Post. Each of these will cost some of your resources, how many is displayed as crystals on their icons. Also, on the icons is a Power icon, this details how much power that building requires to build. Not all buildings require power, the Power Node, Power Generator and Outpost only require crystal resources to build. Your station starts with One Thousand resources and One Hundred and Ten Power Charge. Using the resources and power you can start adding the buildings so that you can protect your station and collect more resources for more protection. Place the buildings by selecting them from the bottom of the screen and then moving them into place where you would like them. Although, you can’t just place them anywhere, they must be connected to the power grid. So, you’ll need build out from your station, how is up to you but placing power nodes will allow you to connect multiple buildings connected to them. To begin with you’ll be able to connect three buildings to one power node, you can increase the number of connections in Research, you can also do this with your station. A blue line will indicate connected buildings and a blue bolt icon shows that it has power; however, if there is no power connecting to a building then it will be indicated by a red line and a red bolt icon. Power Nodes will allow you to connect power and buildings together, to begin with you can only connect three buildings to one power node. You can increase the number of connections in Research, you can also do this with your station. A blue line will indicate connected buildings and a blue bolt icon shows that it has power; however, if there is no power connecting to a building then it will be indicated by a red line and a red bolt icon. The Power Generator allow you to increase your total power output thus letting you add more and more buildings. The Outpost is the only building which doesn’t require being connected to the power grid. You can place the outpost near some asteroids which is currently out of reach. The outpost will also allow you to power its own power grid as well as being able to equip it with two defence towers. The Service Post is a support building which sends out repair drones to damaged buildings in its range. Your buildings do self-health over time but are a little slow, the drones are much faster at repairing your damage. The Squadron Base allows you to build Fighters and Bombers, the fighters will attack any ship in range while the bombers will ignore the smaller ships and concentrate on the larger ships. It is a strong defensive building, but its upkeep is expensive. The Mining Station will mine for resources for you if it’s connected to the power grid and asteroid bearing those lovely crystals. The asteroids containing the chroniton particle you need may not be within easy reach from your station but an outpost will overcome that problem. There are three weapon towers at your disposal, the Projectile, Particle and Launcher towers. The Projectile tower is your standard defensive tower, inexpensive and comes with two firing modes. Point Defensive Machine Gun mode and the stronger Cannon mode. The machine gun can take down incoming rockets and torpedoes and smaller ships, although it only has a short range. The cannon targets only frigates and larger ships but is much stronger than the machine gun. The Particle tower comes with three firing modes, Point Defence Laser Beam mode, which can shoot down rockets and torpedoes. Pulse mode will target any alien ships within its range. Plasma mode is a strong defensive weapon although it will only target cruisers and larger ships. The Launcher tower comes with two weapon modes, homing missile which target any ships and torpedoes which only target cruisers and larger ships but do more damage than the missiles. You can upgrade your buildings in Research, which can be found on the main menu screen. Each of the buildings have several upgrades which can be made such as Hit Points, Self-Repair Speed Per Second, Operating Energy Usage and Weapon Damage etcetera. These upgrades will cost Research Credits and you earn these credits from unspent resources from your previous game. As your space station is about to be destroyed the alien parts you collected begin to form an electric bubble around the station. When your station is finally destroyed its game over, however the alien spaceship parts you found in an asteroid, transports you back in time to just before you were first attacked (start a new game from main menu screen). This will happen time upon time, repeatedly stuck in a time loop. Each time you fail, start a new game and use any resources from your previous game in Research will allow you to slowly become stronger. This will allow you to hopefully move closer to defeating the one hundred waves of alien attacks awaiting you. In the options you’ll find settings for Resolution, Full Screen, High Details, Visible Power Lines, Visible Full Health Bars, Gradient Bars, Music and Sound Effects. On the main menu screen is where you can change the games Language (English, Arabic, Czech, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, Russian and Chinese). Arcadish wave defense simulator with enjoyable music. Each game will give you research points which you use to upgrade your buildings in the future runs .. upgrades kinda snowball into overpowered buildings with infinite income. As of 3/2020 Buildings appear instantly so it pretty much devolves into furious clicking in all directions.
Simple, but pretty enjoyable, almost "retro arcade" experience. Nice and really good optimised graphics (works pretty good on older laptop with plain Intel HD).
This is a fantastic game. It's a tower defense game with a rogue-lite feel to it. The core mechanics are simple, though it takes a few run-throughs to get a handle on some of the details. There's nothing like what you would call a tutorial, but the game design is all about failing forward, so not knowing what you're doing right away is kind of part of the game. If you like base-building, tower defense, rogue-like and strategy games, this is a great game at a great price.
Chronostation is one of this hidden gems hard to find, it's a tower defense with some of roguelike for upgrade your buildings and be more powerfull so have a lot of replay value with a lot of potential !
Rating: 7+ (Mild Combat Themes) Graphics: Simple Enough That Toasters Should Be Able To Play It Price: £7.19 GBP (Overpriced slightly for the content) Recommended Price: £3.99 GBP What I Paid For This: £3.59 GBP (50% Off) Difficulty: Depends On Your Reaction Time* While it could do with some more content, there is enough there to be worth the On-Offer Price that I paid for it. I did complete it in slightly over 9 Hours, and even if you fail, you can still progress through the Research anyway. In fact, it's technically quicker to get Research Points by Failing a few hundred times if you're really that Lazy about it. Anyway, considering this Game is developed by a Single person (or Small Team), it's quite good. It has potential behind it, so if you're looking for something simple to pass the time for a few minutes, then this is definitely worth checking out. * Disclaimer About The Difficulty: OK, so I will admit, I did personally have to use External Software to Slow the Game Down a bit further than the Slowest Speed, but that's just me and getting on in years. If you have a good response time and spot the Hostiles fast enough, then you can basically build Turrets so that they will be 'In-Range' of the Hostiles. This is mostly a thing when you get to Wave 100, as the big Ship that turns up at the end is able to out range most everything, regardless of their Upgrades.
I love concept, but game lack of polish and depth
Potencionál tato hra určitě má, bohužel v zásadních prvcích není dodělaná do konce. Hra je optimalizovaná dobře, žádné crashe jsem neměl, grafika odpovídá žánru, i když žádný zázrak to také není. Absence nějakého interaktivního tutoriálu a jakéhokoli bližšího popisu objektů, stanic, modulů mě ovšem dost zklamalo a tudíž i značně znepříjemnilo herní zážitek. CzechBeast - Salymen
I'm really hesitant to write a review after only having played 18 minutes, but this game doesn't exactly have a lot of depth. That's not exactly a bad thing, though. When you start a game, it hits you with a long-ish pdf explaining how to play the game that's just a hair too unspecific. It's a pretty simple tower defense where stuff comes at you in waves from all directions. After you die, you get some research points to pour into incremental upgrades for all the different stuff you can build. So, it is a rogue-lite, but they're all just some numbers getting bigger. Nothing fun to look at. The only thing I didn't like is that the building placement is a bit wonky. I haven't spent a long time on it so far, but I'll probably play it again in the future. The soundtrack is pretty good too.
