Так уж вышло, что издатель выпилил всю серию Chronicles of a Dark Lord из магазина.
Blank screens during what I assume is supposed to be the first cutscenes not rendered in engine, and a "bitmap failed to render" crash error 3 minutes in. I say 3 minutes in as I was skipping through the opening salvo of dialogue in the hopes that once I garnered control of the characters I could adjust sound levels and controls. After a wipe/fresh install the error persists, so if those options even exist, I've no idea. RPG Maker just publishes these things in working order, so I can only imagine why this has failed on two different machines across 3 installs. Not recommended.

The Good: Graphics are very nice Characters are generally likeable Battles are fun (though a bit too easy for my liking) Story is decent Characters are customizable somewhat Chapter system is a plus (DQ4 anyone?) Large cast Music is good The Bad: As the game progressed, I noticed more bugs. Only one could be game breaking if you save at the wrong time (don't take Desiree when you go to restore the diadem!) Not much endgame content The game was easy most of the time Overall, I really enjoyed my time with this game and I'd still recommend it despite its flaws.
I got this game from a random grab bag. And it grabbed my balls and crushed it. This game sucks lol
I don't even want to know what happened to episode 1
.
Bu bayağı can sıkıcıydı. 7.5/10
Spoiler Warning: contains spoilers. This game is fun, but the battle system sucks. As I see it, these are the problems with the battle system: Status effect moves are practically unusable--want to silence, poison, stun or blind an enemy? Good luck, it never works. Spells you learn do not become more powerful with leveling up. Rather, the spells you learn at higher levels are more powerful. This is really annoying. It means that flamberge you learned at level 10 won't be doing much damage at level forty. Enemies don't have elemental weaknesses unless you give them one! This is so annoying. Although its supposed to be why you have the Tiarna on your team (She can give elemental weaknesses to enemies) good luck keeping her alive long enough to use her. She's really weak. And, as far as I've leveled her up, she doesn't learn any elemental spells herself. So you also have to keep alive your valmerian mage/conjurer or pair her with magus in order to use her effectively. It would be nice if some enemies had elemental weaknesses already built in. Most don't. As a player, this can be really confusing. (you constantly have to guess what random spell is going to be effective against a boss, for example.) I don't think a game should give you all the answers, but a working elemental system is something to be expected from an rpg game. I defeated a lot of enemies just by striking, which gets tiresome. Enemy variety: although there are a lot of enemies in this game, the variety in each stage is really repetitive. Victory message variety: there isn't much! If I had a dollar for every time I heard Nightshade complain about potions I'm pretty sure I'd be a millionaire. Other problems: No sidequests. I was really hoping for some. Having multiple places (more than two) to go on any given map would make the game a lot more fun. The overworld maps are huge, but there's almost nothing on them. You almost NEVER pick up armor. It would be nice to at least pick some up so you don't have to buy it at every shop. There's no downtime between battles. Believe me, defeating Lord Anto's first form and then not getting a save? Oh. My. God. Still, there are a lot of positives. As you go along, you get more and more attached to the characters and you want them to win. (Although Magus is a complete slimeball at points). The developer's room is clever. I'm not even sure what to think of the game over screen. It is....unique. Would I recommend? Yes, if you need a game to keep you occupied. I wish the large team of developers on this game had focused on making the battle system better, though.
Okay let's talk about it. This game runs on modifyed version of RPG Maker, for me personaly that's not a bad thing, because a lot of the games for it, there are bad ones but a lot of them are good. If we are talking about story, it's little bit confusing at first, but that's probably because I didn't play first one. Gameplay could be better to be honest, if you look at games like Pokemon Super Eevee Edition, it runs on a similar combat system, but it's executed much better. There are times when you aren't sure where or how are you suposed to get somewhere. This isn't that long reveiw and most of the things I wrote here are kinda nagative, but all in all I like this game and recommend you to play it
