In days of old, When knights in shinning armor Were callous And bold… Many wild tales Were told Of The Knights Templar. Secret ceremonies held, Secret oaths taken, A pledge to serve God, Never to be foresaken. Money-lenders, Money-keepers, Keeping secret Their secret ways. Swearing to serve God, And the Pope, Taking their loyalty To the grave. In Jeruselum They fought, Bringing Order To the crusades. Fighting fiercely, They fought like lions, Fought bravely, As no other Has. Face to face combat On an open field, Many lives taken, Many were killed. Man against man, A clash of steel, Sword in hand. Broken souls, Battered bodies, Wounds that will Never heal… Centuries have passed Since the Templars Were disbanded. Brought down hard, Not by sword, Not by chance. Brought down hard By the Pope, And the king of France. Oh Lord with silence we hear, Oh Lord with song we cheer, Oh Lord with spirits so high, Oh Lord with banners to the sky, Oh Lord with sounds of battle cries, Oh Lord with martyrdom we fly, Oh Lord with beauty & grace, Oh Lord with steel we chase, Oh Lord with sword we trust, Oh Lord with strength we thrust, Oh Lord with crosses of red, Oh Lord with prayers for the dead, Oh Lord with brothers in arms, Oh Lord with sacred charms, Oh Lord with mantles of white, Oh Lord with chivalry we knights! Darkness fumbles in my mind Swirls with memories left behind Fears and hopes, deep inside The way of the sword need not hide Honor stands golden in my soul Replacing my flesh when swords make hole Eyes stand bold, bright as tiger orange sun The warrior spirit need not run Purple skies bid spirits swirl high The artist paints, as my sword through air The God of love stands by Beauty in face, flowing dark hair Sword cut my destiny, as far as my arm Thunder clap breaks, as does the calm A pure tear for the fallen soul The way of the warrior told The breath in my mind As the darkness fades The sword of the Templar The Way of The Blade A knight…. Head bowed The sword sheathed Glittering blade……… Will never fade Poor Knights of Christ The Knights Templar…….. Have come far Battles, far from won Jerusalem………. Will be lost……… We are the few……… What can we do? The final cost…….. Our numbers have been reduced Jewels and gold………… They have been seduced So many bought and sold…. Gather, ye men………. The ideals hold true We cannot rest Find the path What can we do? In to the lions den The true test The armour that we wear….. Shaped metal The knight………. Scores to settle The forged sword………… By Englands finest smiths Enemies laid bare But is all lost? Our enemies are at the gate We are the few………….. Can we defeat Saladin’s horde? We place our trust in the lord Knights of the Temple Gather ye round Knights of old Knights bold Before it is all gone………….. Saladin’s men at the gate Relentless horde We cannot abate This is not the time for dying Or listening to the enemies’ lying They have not cared…….. Only what they want done Our lives, Never to be spared…………… Jerusalem is lost The knights, will come The old order of things………… To be sacrificed The Knights……….. To die for Christ The knights……….. Cannot crumble to dust The swords must never rust They are needed……….. The teachings, seeded The Cross of St George The values, to forge The Knights betrayed………… The memories………… Swords rust Knights, crumble to dust The values taught………. The enemy cannot kill The battles always fought But still…………… They come The war, far from won The knights weep The rot, beginning to seep…….. The true ways Compromised by political plays Swords rust…….. Knights fade…….. Needs must Knights betrayed………. The final cost Jerusalem…..lost
Servers are dead. Do not buy.
It used to be fine, but nowadays it's completely dead. Should be free since you basically can't play it anymore.
Fun until you start realizing people abuse the way the game works with animations to essentially cheat. Pretty dated in 2026 and not worth your time or money.
the sluts at torn banner have this listed for full price - it's dead!!
Игра мертва в 2026 г.
Great game when it came out. Sometime around 2020, straight up n4zis became commonplace on the servers. So sad.
Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is a beautiful, broken time capsule—half blood opera, half latency simulator. It’s dead, but not buried. Play it to remember what freedom felt like before the cloud swallowed everything. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘬𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘦. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵. 𝘠𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨.
What a classic. The sequel just didn't hit the same. The tone, atmosphere and art direction of this one was way better (the voice lines were truly hilarious). The skill curve was punishing too, you had to time your parries. This made it more rewarding. Its a pity the servers got taken offline. Glad I got to play this one back in the day. If they ever remaster this I'd be there for it.
I played this game 10 years too late
