Chippy

It's really fun to be able to take bosses apart piece by piece as you dodge and weave around their attacks. Each boss provides its own challenge and requires a bit of strategy to take apart the right way, while making sure you don't get hit by its attacks. Chippy is a fairly challenging game, which is where a lot of the fun comes from for me. Slowly working to defeat a boss is way more enticing to me than fighting a bunch of weaker enemies at the same time. Combined with the workshop feature, there's a lot of stuff you can do in the game! I definitely recommend this game if you like bullet hell games.

maybe it's just not for me but this is one of the most difficult bullet hells I've played. not because the game is testing my skills in avoidance but because they just throw EVERYTHING at you, block off your access to power ups and shields by having the boss follow right on top of it. and throwing so many bullets at you that it's literally impossible to avoid them unless you had the forethought to only take movement powerups and never use them until you absolutely need to. the core mechanic of picking the boss apart pixel by pixel is really fun. I just wish I could actually shoot at the boss around needing to avoid all the atoms in the universe being thrown at me at once. if you like skill based games based entirely on getting good RNG patterns this is for you. but I can categorically say that this is not a fun bullet hell game. I say this as someone who has played and beaten several touhou games
