Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

don't buy this game it doesn't launch, you'd have to look up 3 methods on how to juggle khalood balls to start it
Cute little platformer/RPG. Only real issue here is, Ubisoft being Ubisoft. Some of you (like myself) may encounter crashing when starting or loading a game. I found this fix for this is, to block access to the internet for Child of Light. I did this through my firewall settings. No need to block Ubisoft connect or put it offline mode, just block internet access to Child of Light and you are set. If this doesn't work for you, what can I say, it's how I fixed it. Once you get it working, sit back, enjoy the chill vibes, and faerie tale story it tells.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Requires ubisoft connect, once logged in game launches but then closes. Unable to play game through Steam purchase. Own for Nintendo Switch, cute enjoyable game.
can't launch the game, fxxk u ubisoft connect
Child of Light is a delightful little game: engaging, enjoyable and charming throughout, with the only negative being a potential rushed ending section which makes the game appear as though the developers ran out of time or money at the very end. Many players may disagree, being glad that the story doesn't needlessly drag on, but it felt like it had more to give; ending a little abruptly rather than appropriately. But as was the case in 2014, it is still difficult to recommend in its current state - courtesy of the mandated Ubisoft Connect. In order to play, this game requires a one-time sign into Ubisoft's own 3rd party launcher. From here, the game can be played in offline mode, without any internet connection. This makes it more tedious to play this game on a new device, each one requiring an installation of Ubisoft Connect, leaving the customer with a looming dread that their access to the game may be revoked. For example, users could purchase and run this game on the defunct Windows Vista/7 in 2014. But the current version of Ubisoft Connect no longer functions on these systems without the user intervening and downloading old installation files; ones that could simply one day vanish. This is a criticism that can often be directed at Steam itself, and what is here is just a simplification. We could go back and forth on this matter of supporting old systems and offering offline downloads, but let's not. Regardless, it's still the case that this process of installing (unnecessary) clients has to be done twice - for no good reason. In other words, it is an attempt to siphon users from Steam to Ubisoft, gaining some account and system data and the like in the process, which could serve such purposes as flaunting to potential clients their vast, and partially inflated, user-base. The saving grace is that this single player game doesn't require a permanent online connection. That would displease me immensely. As is stands, it's a mild grievance and annoyance.
Currently, acquiring games published by Ubisoft may not be the best decision, despite the quality they may offer. This is due to the company's policies regarding access to the games and the licenses we purchase. A recent example is the case of The Crew, whose servers were shut down, depriving players not only of the multiplayer mode but also of the single-player story mode, and is now also is inaccessible on Ubisoft Connect. This situation is not new; in the past, we saw similar attempts with games like Assassin's Creed III and Far Cry 3, where server closures affected access to DLCs. A more serious case was that of Might & Magic Duel of Champions, a free-to-play game with microtransactions, whose closure not only removed the game from stores but also erased achievements and statistics from accounts, rendering important player information inaccessible. With this panorama, we cannot guarantee that Ubisoft games, especially those linked to their Ubisoft Connect application, will remain in our accounts or that we can play them when we want. Until there is a change in these policies, it is not recommended to acquire these titles. Personally, games linked to this company will no longer be part of my wishlist, even if I am interested in playing them. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I recently bought this game on Steam however have been playing it for many years on Xbox, this is probably my favourite RPG, i think its just perfect and would recommend people to give this game a go. OST is also goated (Coeur de pirate my beloved) and factoring in the artwork and story this game is just a beautiful masterpiece.
怀念以前那个不只有罐头的育碧
The game has never launched successfully for me. Massive failure by the required Ubisoft game launcher application. I'll have to remember never to buy an Ubisoft game again.
Infelizmente devido a uma atualização do launcher da Ubisoft, o jogo não funciona mais.
