Chicken Invaders 2

This one was always one of my favorites as a kid! Episode 2 adds a bunch of new features, enhancing this nostalgic little title to its absolute limits. A strong shmup and an easy recommend for any fan of the series.

Fun and very short game, nice that it's on steam.

Ah yes, The second part of the infamous chicken huntging saga. Well, it was short and fun, fairly easy and straight forward should you want to go acheivement hunting. Recommended

The Chicken Invaders series has been a core part of my childhood. While I have no memory of the first game I can confidently say that this is the worst game in the series I remember playing. The graphics are weird but not horrible, especially for the time this game initially released. But the flaws of it's age show in the gameplay. The interactions with the edge of the screen are janky at best and the waves quickly become repetitive.

[b]Base game – 9/10[/b] The game feels more unique compared to the first chapter. Try it out! Note that gameplay differs depending on whether you play with a controller or a mouse. With controller game works well but you will move slower. With mouse you will be as fast as your cursor, being able to jump from one edge of the screen to another in less than a second. [b]Achievements – 8/10[/b] The only thing that is required for 100% is to complete the game without using rockets on two difficulty levels - Rookie and Veteran. Veteran difficulty is more challenging than in the first game. It took me multiple attempts to complete it.
