ChessCraft

A very fun and creative tool for people (such as me) who want to play chess by their own rules. Endless possibilities for making different piece and boards with a wide range of different move sets and rules which are easy to use and understand, along with being able to test it out with a computer opponent and not limiting it to two players. Only complaint is that the AI opponent tends to "stop working" at random points when i first start a game. Other than that if you're a chess nerd, love fairy chess variants, or just somebody who looks to innovate the game in some sort of way, i highly recommend it.

I really enjoy something like this exists! In like 30 min I figured out how to create my own pieces, have a working game and play-test it against the computer. Quickly figuring out I made the pawns way to strong which led to a very slow and boring game. I changed some things for the better and now I have a much more interesting variant! The computer beats me from level 5-7, so I think the difficulty is pretty solid, but for an advanced player it might (?) be a bit weak.

Czym są szachy? Szachy to sztuka poświęcania własnych bierek. W tych bierkach płynie krew. Szu-szu, szu-szu. Serce pompuje krew. Zbijam pionka-słyszę rozrywane mięso. Zbijam figurę-słyszę krzyk z głębi trzewi. Pionek widzi przyjaciół bo bokach i wrogów po drugiej stronie. Król widzi szachownicę inaczej. Najwięksi wrogowie są wokół niego. Każda bierka może zamknąć króla w matni. A wtedy szach i śmierć.

The adventure mode should be updated to showcase all of the new piece mechanics.
