Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Easy to navigate, running on a good AI engine chess game. A game versus Level 1 and then Level 2 AI engine progressed well. I was exactly looking for this kind of easy to jump in neat chess game with quality AI engine. Also Puzzle Tower looks fun and it goes to 500+ levels and more probably. It gives extra target during leveling up in the tower, like catch the Queen I see so far. Seems good amount of play time! Highly recommended!
Was buying to play with a friend but cannot invite him (although we both have the game) Otherwise game looks pleasant.

The interface is very intuitive. The game also plays very smoothly. One feature that many Chess players would find useful would be the ability to save games in pgn format. This is a very good program for starting players, but does lack features for more advanced ones. One issue with the ladder problems is that some problems have more than one answer, but only recognize one of them.
Обычные шахматы Но за то стоят дешево!
[EDIT: After finishing the game, I realized it's impossible to platinum the trophy because one of the achievements is malfunctioning.] Well... I think this game can be worthwhile for passing the time and get some archievements, but there are many things that could be fixed, and which are not executed as well as in other chess platforms. The game has 10 bot levels. Levels 1 to 8 are easy for an intermediate player. I had around a 1450 rating on chessdotcom with a peak rating of 1670 and I had no difficulty with the level 1 to 7 bots. With a real challenge in the level 8 bot. And I struggled a lot in the level 9 bot. So I believe that the bots 1-9 in this game can be good for beginners or players with up to a 1700/1800 rating. Level 10 bot, however, ist REALLY HARD. Maybe really almost a master level. I find it impossible to beat, for me, without use the hints and the option to undo moves. The game offers 1000 puzzles. Which is a considerable number. And it is undoubtedly motivating to practice puzzles to get the archievements. But there are some problems with these puzzles. To give an example: Puzzle 80 (fen = 1rbq1r2/p2pbp1k/p1p2p1p/3PpN2/4P3/PPN5/2P2PPP/R2Q1RK1 w - - 0 1) has three different solutions for checkmate in 3. However, the game only allows one of the three solutions. And I imagine there are other puzzles with problems. I paid R$ 2.09 (0.38 USD) and I think it's okay to get achievements in a relaxing way and pass the time with something I enjoy. But in fact, although there isn't much chess here on Steam, there are several free platforms with quite advanced options, which means that the games here end up being only for niche players who want to platinum the game.
Best Chess game here in Steam. No doubt it was freaking awesome!! Worth the money I spent. 10/10 for me
So, I found this game while combing through the 'sales' page on SteamDB and I'm going to be perfectly honest: I bought this game solely because of the young woman they have in one of the trailers on the Steam page. She's pretty cute, and has a lot of pep. We're only human, after all. As such, because she sold me on the game, I bought it, and well, it's exactly what it says on the tin: it's chess. Now I’m no expert and I don't care about studying theory or analyzing every move: I just wanted a clean, reliable way to play quick offline matches to unwind, and Chess Royal delivers perfectly. It uses Stockfish 11—which might be old news to chess enthusiasts—but it gives a casual player like me a great challenge. Highly recommended if you just want to play a quick game without any online stress.
