V Chernobylite vás hneď po zapnutí pohltí neskutočný vizuál. Grafika je tak detailná, že budete mať pocit, akoby ste sa skutočne prechádzali po Černobyle – každá hrdzavá rúra a rozpadnutý panelák vyzerajú priam fotorealisticky. V tomto prostredí prežijete dokonalý príbeh o láske, ktorý vás poženie vpred oveľa viac než akákoľvek túžba po vybavení. Je to osobná, tajomná cesta, o ktorej je lepšie dopredu veľa nevedieť, aby ste si ju vychutnali naplno. Čo vás na hre určite dostane, je to, ako perfektne môžete manipulovať so svojimi rozhodnutiami. Ak sa vám nebude páčiť následok nejakej voľby, hra vám dovolí vrátiť sa v čase a zmeniť ju, čo dodáva deju obrovskú hĺbku a slobodu. Treba si však priznať aj pár mínusov: Svet sa vám môže zdať pomerne prázdny a po čase možno nadobudnete pocit, že v tých krásnych kulisách nie je dostatok života alebo zaujímavých aktivít. Kombat systém vás pravdepodobne bude nudiť, nakoľko v hre nie je až tak veľa akcie a samotné prestrelky sú dosť nevýrazné. Hoci tu máte base building, pripravte sa na to, že je dosť suchý. Celú hru ho vlastne moc nevyužijete a bude na vás pôsobiť skôr ako nevýrazný doplnok. Aj keď sa jedná o indie hru, musím uznať, že aj napriek jej nedostatkom je neskutočne spracovaná. Ak hľadáte titul s neprekonateľnou atmosférou a silnou emóciou, ktorý vyzerá priam dychberúco, Chernobylite by ste si mali zahrať.
