As for the first game from this studio, it's not bad, even somewhat good. As for the 2018 strategy, so-so. Since I started getting acquainted with this series of games (CHAOS FRANCHISE) with the second part (Chaos Galaxy - 2020), which I liked, I have a somewhat biased-positive vision of where the development of ideas and mechanics that I saw in the second part began.
It's a great niche game all things considered You can pick it up and quickly realize it's in's and out's Only problem is the difficulty comes from just the AI cheating at every step, not from an actual challenge
Chaos Galaxy improved on the formula, but Chaos Sector is unique enough from it's successor to be worth trying on it's own for fans of that game. Combat is mechanically like SRW, but with generic troops like Advance Wars. Troops maintain their veterancy between missions, and when to take on the next combat mission is very freeform.
It's essentially the prototype to Chaos Galaxy, but picked it after finishing that game. Still a fun game to play, but with less features.
about a 8 hour campaign grid based strategy game. hopefully the second one is more fleshed out.
a good strategy game.
Classic indie SRPG series. It is very much like advanced wars, but in space, with an overworld campaign type thing. This one is simpler. It has a lot of interesting balance choices. If you take the time to figure them out, the game should be pretty easy. First one holds up, but the animations are slow. Even the on map animations and UI elements are slow, but this is his first game.
Fun but machanics need work, possibly corrected in Chaos Galaxy 1 or 2.
