The "developer" just ripped off a few pictures of fidget spinners from the internet, chopped them up to make a "fidget spinner editor" and coupled it with an Adobe Flash tier clicker that lets you "spin" your asset flipped spinner to see how many revolutions you can get... and that's all there is to this. If the developer didn't have a long history of stealing the work of others I'd put this down solely as a joke game, but it's worse. Boogygames Studios have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic 2D art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the lacklustre 2D visuals. The game features simple, cartoony 2D graphics, of the type you normally expect to see in low effort mobile apps. 3D graphics programming does require a degree of skill and competence and unfortunately not all developers have the budget or talent to deliver this, despite 3D graphics cards hitting the mainstream in the 1990's. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing. The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just point and click stuff like a browser/Flash game. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here. The very poor quality of this game puts it squarely on-par with ancient 1990's Flash/Java games, and given it's 2023 (and this was released not so far back in 2017), gamers and the industry expect and deserve better than this kind of low effort shovelware. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 5 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Fidget Spinner Editor is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. [b]Note:[/b] Because this is more of a "joke" game, intended to draw attention from controversy or in the hopes of going viral because it's "so bad it's good" (but it isn't good at all), there's nothing here to offer to serious gamers. As usual, with most awful/joke games, all the comedians come out of the woodwork. The vast majority of the reviews for this game are joke reviews, such as "this game cured my cancer, saved my marriage, changed my life" etc. Because most of the reviews are as insincere as the game itself is, the positive review score for this game should be disregarded.

This master-class in game design and simply brilliant work of art is a life-changing experience. Before I started playing Fidget Spinner Editor, I was a bit lost in life. Now, however, I have found purpose. Each day, my friends and I attempt to create the most aerodynamic fidget-spinner possible, and compete for the high-score spin. I am not the current Fidget Winner, but that does not matter. For, the competition is what I live for; not the first-place spot. Fidget Spinner Editor has taught me to value the time spent in competition. It has taught me to be patient, and keep trying for that perfect spin. Fidget Spinner Editor is, in all honesty, a transcendent experience beyond mere words. This review spot will not be enough to adequately convey the sheer genius of this labor of love. Purchase the game for yourself and see. Purchase it for your friends, your family, and all you know; enlighten them as they so deserve. What is the meaning of life? Some say that it's to find happiness. Some say it's to find peace. Others still believe that there is no meaning. Me? I think that the meaning is what you make of it.
