Champy the Useless Vampire

Adorable and fun! Is it a masterpiece? Can't say, but definitely a great addition to the Point and Click genre! The two guys who created this game deserve massive congratulations! Please, keep them coming! I'll keep buying ;)

Aventura gráfica sencillita muy entretenida y con puzzles muy bien elegidos. Nunca me he quedado atascado porque todo estaba súper bien hilado y de forma coherente.

easy P&C good for 4-5 hours of gameplay

For me, it's a gem for fans of classic point & click graphic adventures. So much fun!

Dracula is in bad shape and all the people he would usually call are unavailable. Enter nephew Champy, the guy you choose when no one else is available. Champy must explore the legendary vampires castle along with the near by village to save is favorite uncle. I feel like a lot of people are going to look at this game and think it is trying to be funny. Well it is possible that it just completely misses the mark, personally I don't think it is trying to be funny. Sure it has a goofy mood to it, a mood I personally really like. I just don't think it actually tried to tell that many jokes. There is a few and they are pretty hit or miss for me. If you go into this game expecting a comedy, I think you will be disappointed. If you go into it expecting a wacky adventure I think you will enjoy yourself. The art style is very Saturday morning cartoon. I thinks this helps the goofy mood that I talked about earlier. Like I said there isn't that many jokes and in general the dialog is kind of OK. It has some moments but overall it just OK. The voice acting is bad. For smaller projects like this I personally can overlook bad voice acting, but I also can't deny what it is. I really like the puzzle design in the game. There was a lot of eureka moments for me. A time I would see something and be like "O that is what that thing from earlier was for". That is always a sign of good puzzle design to me. The general flow of the game is, solve a series of puzzles in the castle, solve a series of puzzles in town, then the last section is across both. The last section does a good job of working off what you already know about those areas. Things are a little too easy for me, but even with that I do like how the puzzles are designed. The game is not without its faults; too easy, short, bad voice acting and dialog is nothing special. Not minor complaints for the PnC adventure genre. But there more then enough here to recommend. I like the overall tone of the game, the art and the puzzle design. I am genuinely excited to see what this dev does next.

La verdad, si sos fan de las aventuras gráficas lo vas a terminar en un periquete. Demasiado fácil, intuitivo y corto. Al terminar el juego me empecé a reir porque no podía creer que eso fuera todo, jajajajjaja. En menos de 2 horas lo terminé. En un momento salí del juego y al volver no continuaba la partida de manera correcta y tuve que reiniciar el juego de cero.

This game was fun. The vibe was similar to the monkey island adventure games.

Mogę z czystym sumieniem powiedzieć, że podobała mi się ta gierka ;), mojemu tacie tak samo. Było parę momentów, gdzie człowiek się zaśmiał. Jedyny minus to to, że gra jest dość krótka. Mi przejście jej zajęło około 1,5 h. Jak będzie na promce to polecam kupić!
