A child's guide to free will vs. fate or destiny as some would call it. It reminded me of the old Saturday morning cartoons. Spoiler alert---Five minutes after meeting the beautiful princess he is kissing her in front of his long time girl friend. Fate? or is he just a jerk? If this type of question keeps you up at night this is the cartoon for you.
Story is perfect,I really want to play more games from this author. (Needs more gameplay time)
Cut off a guys beard, Rejected a princess, Took a bubble bath with the God of Chaos- Highly Recommended
I can't romance Goddess of Death/Love/War? Literally unplayable. -10/10
I don't know, man. Like it's a good game if you've got a solid imagination, enough patience to constantly hit the restart button when you realize the choice Jonathan wrote is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ explained/connected to the relevant stat and enough time to this so often you wonder about the point of it then yeah, it's good.
this is a really good game and should be in your libary.
A Gem by Choice of Games - Become a Champion of the Gods!
I wasn't sure what to expect going into this game. I saw the positive reviews and decided to give it a chance, and I am soooo happy I did. It's a stunning gem of a game from Choice of Games, something that really helps prove they can provide us with games where your choices matter and you manage your own destiny, something one doesn't often find among similar AAA games that offer choice. Your choices matter heavily and shape your relationships with those around you and the Gods. Will you become a true and loyal champion or will you reject the aid of the Gods and choose your own destiny untainted by their guiding hand? Champion of the Gods provides you with many paths and a great and in-depth story and world to become immersed in. I loved every minute of it. For any vet CoG players or even those new to the company, this is a must try.
Not a huge game in terms of branching paths, but of what story is there, it's well written
Light and easy to read, i definitly recommend it for a first try of the genre. If you like Greek mythology you will not be disappointed
If you loved reading the Odyssey or other stories from the Greek myths, this choose-your-pathway book should serve you well. There are gods and fates and heroes fighting monsters against great odds. There are battles, plagues, and magic. Most important, there are choices. Are you male or female? Do you love man, woman, or both? Are you loyal to the gods, your people, or yourself? There are many other choices as well. One play through takes about two hours. When you have ended your story, there is a nice graph at the end that shows you what choices you made. These choices affect the outcome, which means the game has replayabililty. Though the writing isn't Shakespeare, or even Tolkien, it is competent enough for this simple tale. So if you don't mind a lot of reading, read yourself a game. If you haven't read much more than traffic signs since high school, you will want to avoid this game like a Greek hero avoids domestic encumbrances. But make sure to pick it up cheap. I can't see anyone getting through this game more than thrice. if you like reading greek myths and making choices, get this for around $6.
