I'm sorry but like, was this game made yesterday? The art style and presentation in general makes it look polished, but the movement is clunky, the shooting is whacky, the enemies have non-existent A.I, you fall through items, you can see through enemies, the effects and lightning are crap and much more, it felt like playing a mobile shooter or a browser game, this game was published one year ago, it really doesn't have an excuse to be this bad on such basic aspects. Don't trick yourself because of the admittedly badass art style, comic book narrative and good music ( Which are praiseworthy normally ) For a game from Fulqrum that has so many gems this is disappointing, hopefully it turns into a playable game sometimes down the road, like Wrath or Cultic. Btw, I bought this on a sale for 2$, IT IS NOT WORTH 9$ ATM

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

If you're willing to try a simple and dynamic game in which is shoot, kill, upgrade and proceed, you're in for a good time. It's also not that long and as since it's still just Vol. I, achievements are not that rough. Once you understand how the fury meter works, it's a breeze. Give it a try.
"Out of Early Access"?
the worst and most clunkiest doom-clone to ever exist and not only that, but also it has a spyware launcher
Wanna play a boomer shooter where you can't shoot anything? I've got a game for you! I saw the negative reviews when this game came out, but I waited, figured maybe all the bugs and glitches would get patched out. It's been a little over eighteen months and it seems like the game is still broken. Goody! There's no story from what I can tell. You're thrown in prison. Break out and kill a bunch of aliens. Done. So that just leaves the gameplay! It doesn't work. You can punch and kick open doors and walls and enemies--something you primarily need to do to progress in the game. As the game progresses, you get new guns, upgrades, blah blah blah. The game moves kinda sluggishly for some reason. The narrative is trying so hard to make it seem like "AWW YEAH, THIS IS BADASS AND AWESOME AND BADASS AND COOL AND BADASS AND BADASS!!!" but in terms of its "badassness" it's kind of tame. You shoot enemies with big guns and you can punch and kick them...and that's it. They explode into a gory mess (which is lovely) but there's no personality besides "generic action hero." This isn't Johnny Turbo or the DOOM Marine/Slayer or DUSK Man or Duke Nukem or Jack Banhammer--hell, Max Payne feels grittier than this protagonist because he's just a normal cop mowing down mobsters and highly trained mercenaries and his only method of healing himself is popping pills. I didn't get far in the game (I'll explain why soon) but in terms of what you play, it's kind of meh. I was able to unlock the pistol and shotgun...which are just an ordinary pistol and double-barrel shotgun. But don't worry! Because the game spices things up with Fury mode. When you enter Fury Mode, you have the option to fire a whopping TWO guns! AW MAH GAWD! :O It's still very slow. The firing, the movement, everything. Fury Mode does not change a damn thing from playing the game regularly except you have infinite ammo temporarily and enemies go down almost instantly. But a lot of enemies tend to die in just two shots or so anyway so it feels kinda...meh? Again, the game tries so hard to make Fury mode look epic, but it doesn't feel epic. Also yeah, I refunded the game! Because as it turns out, you can't collect ammo in this boomer shooter! After you get a new gun, all you have is the ammunition you start with. Once that's gone, that's it! You gotta spend the rest of the game punching and kicking everything! "That's not true. You get more ammunition by killing enemies in Fury mode." I know. That's what the game told me. That is not what happened. I even changed the difficulty and put the game on "Easy" just to see if I could find more ammo easily. It's the same damn problem. I've seen gameplay footage from other players on YouTube; enemies are supposed to drop ammunition when you kill them in Fury mode. That never once happened with me. On that same note, when I enter Fury mode, the only gun I can use is the handgun. There was even a point where I entered Fury mode with no handgun bullets and nearly thirty shotgun shells. Once that happened, all my shotgun shells went away and I couldn't use it, but I magically gained sixty handgun bullets. And when Fury mode ended, the shotgun shells came back and the handgun bullets disappeared again! What kind of ass-backwards ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is this?! I can't even play your game the way you are encouraging me to play it! That's not even getting into the weird glitch I had where I exited the game, rebooted it, and half of the text turned into a different language mixed in with English. How does that even happen?! What happened with this game? Because I've heard whispers that there was a falling out with the devs or the publisher or something and maybe that's why the game is as clunky as it is. I don't know. And frankly I don't care. Y'all have had over a year to iron out these game-breaking bugs and they are still there. I didn't even get halfway into the second level before I ran out of ammo. And as far as I know, I can't get anymore unless I find some in hidden secret rooms--which is incredibly rare. Maybe the game gets better later on, but it's too late now. I've come across games that had clunky gameplay or were repetitive but I tolerated it just to see if it gets better. But with this game, I can't finish it because of a bug that makes the game so much harder and more frustrating than it needs to be. Oh sure, maybe I could just punch and kick everyone to death, but something tells me in the later stages, you're gonna need GUNS to take out hordes of enemies. So yeah, those are my thoughts. Go buy Turbo Overkill. Go buy Mullet MadJack. Locum Tenens was made by one dude. For a third of this game's price. And somehow that game functions much better than this and is difficult for all the proper reasons. Get DUSK. Download Chex Quest, a free game that's essentially an advertisement for cereal, yet somehow much better than this. Darkenstein 3D is also free when it absolutely deserves money. There are plenty of boomer shooters out there that are better than this game and worth your money. Even the mediocre ones I'm willing to give a pass. Wanna know why? YOU HAVE AMMO TO SHOOT.
janky, bad AI and overall doesn't have anything going on worth the time
