About

Zoom through the many handcrafted worlds in this FPS Platforming Speedrunner! Learn to master your movement kit and leave your best times for others to challenge!
We reserve the right to wipe leaderboard times until full release!
Designed from the beginning to be approachable for players new to the genre, while still retaining the nuance and high skill ceiling that veterans can appreciate. Levels are designed to teach you everything you need to know, and will gradually push your skill level and nudge you to do things just a bit faster. By the end of the game, you'll be zooming through worlds like nothing.
Features movement tech such as air-strafing, bunnyhopping and surfing, popularized by Source-Engine titles such as Counter Strike, Half-Life, and Team Fortress 2! However, the game builds off of this movement drastically with its own mechanics such as sliding, surf jumps, wallkicks and more!
Featuring five unique worlds and over 75 carefully thought-out levels. Each levels teaches something new, brings a new idea to the table, presents a new challenge - no filler!
Fight for the best times against your friends and globally! Show off your times on the leaderboards, watch how others beat your times through the replay system, and race against other players' ghost times.
CatboyZOOM is a passion project developed primarily by myself, Ethan, with additional programming from my partner, Brae.
We're both avid enthusiasts of FPS platformers, particularly Source-movement, and have both been involved in movement gamemode communities for over a decade. Most of our time has been spent in the Team Fortress 2 jump community, where together we've published over 25 custom maps (and spent over 25k hours of our lives), and are core contributors to the Source movement community project Momentum Mod.
We both care deeply about making movement platforming that is extremely fun, satisfying, and rewarding - something that gives you the joy of just going really fast and executing a route well, but that also makes you wanna grind a single level for hours upon hours until you get that perfect run.

ненапряжная и всегда есть возможность улучшить результат очень хочется кучу QoL изменений и редактор уровней (жаль его не будет) лично мне показалось что некоторые треки как будто сразу два играют. Это не баг, это мне так кажется, не более)
very nice and cute game :3
Having had no experience with Source movement beyond seeing CSGO surf in unrelated videos, this made for a terrific introduction to that kind of gameplay. Zooming around is satisfying and the levels leave a good bit of room to experiment and find the exact fastest route. The visuals are good enough, pretty minimalist but it has a nice charm to it. The titular Catboy is adorable and you get to see his outfit in-game when you look down. There's also a playable catgirl. I don't know why you would want to play as someone who's not part of the game's title, but it's a neat option. The only thing I'd suggest, really, is please give the cats tails. I guess it's not that big a deal when you won't see them in first-person anyway, but the moustache cat has a really fluffy tail and I want a fluffy tail please. Please tail.
I played the demo and really enjoyed it, and so far the game itself is fun too! I don't have much experience with FPS platforming games but this game has a good tutorial and I'm having a lot of fun playing. Check out the demo if you're unsure!
very cool. zoomed as a catboy 10/10
i love this game
Really fun movement game, absolutely recommend to anyone who likes going fast. The movement feels really clean and smooth, and the momentum you can build up also feels great
Simplistic, warm and summery experience. Fun surfing :)
Good graphics and gameplay. The graphics are Unreal and thus aren't really optimized. It makes my PC roar. I've played since release of the first beta. Amazing game. One of my all time favs!
not sure why my review was remove and looks like some others, but lit game
