Their clock time started, but it never let me get into the game to play even one minute. And now they won't give me a refund because they say I've played too long. I won't be buying another game through Steam.
Love the game. Very well portrayed from the original table top version. You can't actually join games through friends like it suggests but few enough players join lobbies at the same time that you can easily match into a lobby with someone. It has a great community and features crossplay with PSVR so thats cool too!
It's great really. Run's smooth. Simple and functioning most of the time. A great game to play in VR especially in a time of social distancing. Maybe look to buy it on sale tho.
Great fun and no pieces to set up!
Its cool...but the interface is a little clunky.
mmmmm catan
The first thing I wanna say: The game is cross-platform! I was able to play with my friends using native Quest, so go ahead and enjoy it with your VR buddies! This is a great port from a board game to VR. I didn’t notice any glitches while playing, and the controls feel super smooth. Compared to Demeo (another VR board game), the menu and UI could use some improvement. But even from that perspective, the game is simple and easy to play.
It's nice to play with friends (works cross platform). Without friends it would probably not as nice, as the community seems kind of small. Althought it might be worth checking out the discord to find players.
Fantastic game and the VR port was much better than expected. Overall, we LOVE the game and have been playing daily for weeks. There are definitely some glitches we've run into however... one time the game thought we built a city, but we were disconnected mid turn. Upon returning, the game thought the city had been built and we were capped at 4, although only 3 were on the board. Controller sometimes stop responding in the game. There are a few other tiny examples, but wanted to point that one out. Crossplay does work between SteamVR and Quest users. You have to join with the lobby code and voila.
