Cat Souls

Cat Souls is a cute precision platformer by the developer of Bumballon with 45 levels in total ranging from easy to somewhat challenging. There are a couple stages each with their own mechanics and you have to figure out how to use them and clear the level in time. Cute graphics and atmosphere for a casual feel. I'm not that good at precision platforming and it took me about 90mins to clear the game. It may be a bit short but there are plenty of levels and I enjoyed the experience. At the moment the game offers little replayability. A Rush mode for speedrunning the game with Steam leaderboards that unlocks after clearing the game might help with that.

45 levels packed with colorful and varied game mechanics. Featuring a very generous lives system, and plenty of time to complete each level.

Super cute puzzle platformer. I feel like the main "lives" gimmick is super underutilized, I think that could be expanded upon in some fun ways. By the end of the game, it doesn't see much use. Other than that, it's a super responsive platformer with pretty, distinct worlds!

Cat Souls tem uma arte muito bonita, bem colorida e agradável, com uma boa variedade de fases e inimigos. As fases variam bem e apresentam mecânicas novas ao passar das fases e as utilizam em combo ao avançar nelas, a dificuldade delas vai aumentando gradativamente, mas não é nada muito hardcore, depois de algumas tentativas você já entende como funciona e consegue passar tranquilamente. Senti a falta de um seletor de fases para re jogar uma fase especifica, ao terminar o game, seria uma boa adição. É um bom jogo para quem quer um desafio e se divertir no processo.

30分～1時間くらいでクリアできる小規模のアクションパズルゲーム。 1ステージが短いのでサクサク遊べる。英語オンリーですが文章は基本ないので問題無い。 PVにもあるようにトゲを踏むと足場が生成されるシステムは珍しいと感じた。 それが面白さにつながっているかは…うーん。 キャラのクセも強くないし難易度もそこまで高くないのでお子さんにも良いかも。 ゲーム内で画面サイズを調整する機能が無かったり（等倍かフルスクリーン）、 タイトル画面の「EXIT GAME」からゲームを終了できない部分はちょっと残念。 試してないのでわからないけどコンテニューが10ステージごと？なので注意。

Cat Game Review: It's alright, some of the hitboxes feel janky and you can't short jump. Wish they used the limited lives mechanic more, the spikes feel less like a utilization of the idea and more like just a weird, self-creating platform. Still okay as a platformer though. (I only have so much time in the game cause I accidentally left it on a long time, the game isn't actually that long.)
