Cat Chess

I almost never buy games on release day, but the appealing regional price, the vibrant and warm visuals, the cozy atmosphere that softens the expected seriousness of chess matches — all of that won me over from the very first screenshots. As someone who knows almost nothing about chess, this game is a great way to get started. The range of difficulty levels keeps things from getting overwhelming, the difference in the bots ELO ratings is noticeable, while the campaign is basically a tutorial — which only helps the game. What I would add or change: —When a pawn reaches the end of the board, it would be nice to be able to minimize the piece selection window. Sometimes I didn’t pay attention to the pieces I already had and wondered which one to pick, choosing, for example, a bishop instead of the more preferable knight. —When I won for the first time, I thought the game bugged because the victory animation wouldn't go away. The only way out was through the “Esc - Leave.” I thought I'd lose my progress. It would be nice to be able to check the match results on the board in the end and exit with a separate button. —The ability to quickly restart or play a rematch. —Idle animations would make the game even more lively! —Ginger cats should always win, because I have a ginger cat! I wish the developers the best of luck with the game!

cannot even play this game... it's always crash when i open this game. updated my driver and reinstalling this game still not fix this

J'aime bien ce jeu, c'est trop mignon les chats qui sont des pions, par contre il y a quelques points à améliorer : 1. Avoir le choix d'une limite de temps est nécessaire, le temps illimité fait que les gens trollent et ne bougent plus leurs chats quand on commence à les battre 2. Si la personne quitte la partie avant d'avoir été échec et mat, ça serait bien de pouvoir le voir, parce que quand les joueurs ne bougent plus de pièces pendant 10 minutes et qu'il n'y a aucune cinématique pour informer que le joueur a quitter et bein on sait pas si on doit quitter ou rester et on poireaute pendant trop de temps 3. Un système elo comme sur chess.com serait bien, car maintenant il n'y a que "Low, mid, high" comme niveaux, et les gens ont tendance à se surestimer, donc en jouant en high je me retrouver avec des gens (qui je supposerais) ont - de 800 elos, alors en étant environ 1100 élo, jouer avec des 800 elos qui se surestiment c'est pas cool ni pour eux ni pour moi a part ça ce jeu a du potentiel, on peut jouer avec ses amis, des bots, ou avec des gens au hasard et c'est super les petits chats c trop mignon je recommande quand même ce jeu

Pls let me do stupid moves with my friends, having been chased for 10 rounds while I just have my king left isn't the best. Also when I do that on campaign, I literally have their king stuck between 4 of my pieces, it's suddenly a draw? Kinda waisted like 20min thx. Love the game tho, the cats, more animations pls, and these issues.

I love cats. I love chess. This was an instant wishlist, and purchase on release. I absolutely love the animations. I would like to see more locations, however. All in all, I'm enjoying the game very much. P.s to the developer is that music in the 2nd video a real song if so please add it to the jukebox because it's just super hilarious to me! Would love to see more cat themed board games in the future.
