Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
12 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 404.5/day in the week to Jul 15 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I've wanted to play this game since its launching, but I didn't have the means to play it back the day. Now, I see that this game is incredible, and the wait was worth of it.
tem bem mais vania na alma desse jogo do que no primeiro (mesmo que ainda seja menos do que eu gostaria), e no geral acho um jogo melhorzinho, tirando as sessões insuportáveis de stealth

12 on sale3 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 3 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 12 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 – 5/10 Ambitious story and decent combat ideas, but the execution is inconsistent and outdated. Pros: Interesting Dracula story concept Some solid boss fights Atmospheric moments when it works Cons: Forced stealth sections kill pacing Confusing navigation and weak objective tracking Poor map readability and unclear routes Repetitive gameplay loops Modern design standards feel missing Overall, it feels like a game you push through to finish rather than enjoy moment-to-moment. Worth it only on sale if you’re a Castlevania fan or want to see the story conclusion. i continued from where i left of at 60% to 100% today -- even at 99% i was close to uninstalling cause its the last boss why hide it?
its a really good game with an amazing alternate story
狗屁游戏动不动就崩溃,根本玩不了,用点心好吗!
Good I really liked it. There are some much needed improvements compared to the first Lords of Shadow game like being able to control the camera instead of relying on static camera angles per room which helps on exploration and to admire the enviroments and architecture. Another great addition is the ability to highlight grab points and climbing paths during scaling walls and such that removes the frustration of the previous game where you were tasked with climbing out of a flooding lava dungeon with a static camera and were futilely trying to find the climbing path while the lava was killing you. Another improvement is the Discovered Secret counter on the world map that only counts discovered secrets in the area that you can find with your current abilities, so if you need the double jump ability to reach a power up for example but you dont have it yet, the counter will hide the inaccesible secrets of the counter (Dead City 6/6) so you can explore other areas without frustration. When you get new abilities the counter gets updates with the message that you can explore those areas again to discover stuff. The art style is gorgeous with a lot of unlockable concept art. The graphics haven't aged at all, the game looks like it came out this year in my opinion. Detailed, moody and artistic. The Bad Stealth sections. That feel out of place even if you take the plot into consideration. I get it that the protagonist starts weakened and has to avoid some guards, but I would expect by the time he is facing the big bads he is strong enough to kill one bazooka holding demon. Tanky enemies in swarms that need armor breaker attacks to start taking damage, enemies that spawn more enemies and overhelm you by knocking you down and chain bashing you as you try to get up and dodge the next attack. Combat becomes frustrating at some point, and you will be rushing past the enemies to reach a destination to advance the plot, but you will have to stop dead and fight them because the enemies snipe you off ladders as you try to climb to a rooftop. Pretty dk move to be knocked down from your climbs in slow motion to be forced to clear the respawning mobs you found on your way to a boss fight and waste magic on them too. The plot is okay, a bit confusing and lots of things dont make sense even after knowing the plot twists. The xp you get for weapon mastery fills up too slowly and it is a chore to gather. Example: you want to level up you whip weapon to deal more damage, you use your x3 basic attack of single-single-single attack, you feel up your mastery of x3 basic attack. When the bar is full you can give the xp to the weapon for 1/4 of a level. After that using x3 single basic attack will not give you any weapon mastery xp ever again, you will have to use the more difficult and situational combos like (x3 single after perfect block) or (activate magic, block+single basic attack-hold-+direction -while in the air after a jump-) to fill up your weapon bar and strengthen your weapons. I have to keep checking the inputs and using wasteful moves or moves I dislike to strengthen the weapon I enjoy using. 0verall. I had a great time with the game despite minor annoyances.
I deeply want to be done with this game, it's linear without ever knowing if you are going the right way, and so far the plot feels episodic with no real point. Once again we are back to enemies being damage tanks that just take too long to kill, this is how Dark Souls did combat right, the fights didn't take forever but you had to methodical about your actions, this game, you get off maybe a quick combo, dodge, another small combo, dodge, more combo, dodge, and it keeps going and going and this is for regular mobs, and even more annoying, mobs will always stagger you if they hit you once, but you cannot stagger enemies with 1000 hits, where the lazy combat mechanics are making the game feel way too long. Coupled with the linear gameplay and boring plot, this game is just painful to play. I didn't come into this one expecting much considering I didn't care for the first one and this one is really no different. The direction they are taking with Castelvania is just terrible, I wish they would would stop trying to humanize one of the greatest villains of all time and just get back to side scrolling with the Belmonts.
