This cow is cashing so hard right now.
This game has the same modern-retro magic as Pixel's last game: Donut Dodo. I'm amazed that lightning struck twice, and they produced two fun platformers that nailed this elusive mix of modern-polish, true 80s fever-dream game logic, and surprising depth. For a busy dad who needs his games to launch quickly and be fun right away, Pixel nailed it again. Whatever Pixel has for game number three, I'm there (wishlist: a modern take on the little-known 80s game "Bag Man"). Beating the game and unlocking Turbo Cow - totally worth it.
Bought this with Looney Landers. I’m in my element. Love these. Make more
It's alright, kind hard
I wanted to like this game a lot more than I ended up liking it at all. Oh well. Still worth getting on sale. Definitely don't buy at full price though. Replayability is abysmal.
Fun game to pick up and play. Challenging and the movement has a learning curve.
It is SO MUCH fun!
Smooth scorlling colourful graphics, fast paced action. Takes me back to the arcades of the 80s and nineties and the days of the Sincalir spectrum. As a game it reminds me of an old Commodore 64/Sinclair spectrum called Thing on a Spring combined with a certain blue hedgehog. gAMES LIKE THIS'RE A LOT BETTER THAN THE NEW multi-million, cast of hudreds, HD guzzling, graphics card punishing snazzy AA games that take years to develop
good
Cash Cow is a well polished, modern take on old school arcade gaming. This game is very short. There are only 5 levels, and it wants to played as quickly as possible while obtaining the highest score you can. indeed, Cash Cow offers a speedrun, and a marathon mode as well. A full run can take 5-15 minutes, depending on skill level. Difficulty level is unlocked through each play-through, (easy to hard), and it felt good to improve my scores. Visually, it looks good. It sounds good, and the game play feels responsive and smooth. If you are looking for a quick in-and-out game session, or another great arcade title for your collection, this one will be for you. Great on the Steam Deck.
