Fun game, still needs some work but for the most part a lot of fun to play. There are 4 classes but nothing showing you the differences between them. have to log out and log back in sometimes due to not being able to loot or talk to anyone after some time playing. When you open the crafting window part of it is covered with the map and I cant find anything to move their locations. Cant do much with "investigation" yet, have a camp site near the beginning area and cant seem to be able to do anything with it. There are a bunch of quests to gain money and the crafting part seems extensive. Combat is straight foward once you get the hang of it. Travel is smooth and right now even though there are some issues it is still enjoyable. I do recommend this game if you enjoy craftin, survival games. The developers seem to be attentive to players and are working on the issues.
A well done and fun game to play with friends especially for a early access. I helped with testing and seeing the game get released on steam has been very good to see. Sure it has bugs but I've seen AAA titles release as a "complete" game with more/worse bugs than this EARLY ACCESS game. Also you don't need the newest and greatest hardware to get a visually pleasing experience and good frame rates. The devs are more active and willing to help solve problems than any others I've seen. I'm excited to see how this game changes and evolves as it approaches completion.
scrolling with mous wheel takes forever interface is a nightmare character creation itself is okay but how the elements are arranged, hell no
Bought this to support a cool idea. Unfortunately, I only learned not to buy early acces anymore.
***Unfortunately I can no longer support this game. Updates have ground to a halt and all development seems to have completely stopped, and their discord has become an inactive graveyard. Too bad...*** What can I say that hasn't already been written. Both the positive and the negative you read, are (mostly) valid complaints and/or accolades. This game is deserving of both, but not in equal measure. This is an INDY, early access game, and if you know even the minimal amount of game development, then you know it certainly deserves our admiration for making it this far, and to have a somewhat playable game showing off much of their ideas, and where they wish to take it. Full stop. I believe it is a very small crew of extremely dedicated and active individuals pumping out updates at a rapid consistent pace, daily and sometimes multiple times a day. Is the game rough? Sure.. The graphics can be a little wonky, animations are goofy at times, random broken quests, misspellings, skills not working correctly or at all and the list of issues kind of go on and on from there. Though, so far in my time in the world, none of the issues present are either game breaking or disruptive to the overall experience. Is it worth your money? I'm not entirely convinced it's worth the current price point. But that isn't a reflection against the many hours of work the devs have obviously put in. But more a reflection on kind of what you get for your money. Are there hours of fun here? You betcha! Is it janky af? Darn toot'n! But there are magical moments that will captivate you if you are looking for them. World exploration, caves, bandits, monsters abound, sailing, horse riding, a pretty robust crafting system, base building and a pretty wild character creation. Pear shape/skinny arms ALL DAY! Final thoughts: It's certainly not going to replace your main game you play, but, the devs are dedicated, the community is awesome, the game is playable (even fun!), and being updated all the time at lightning speed. If you want to participate in a truly Indy, ground floor experience, while 100% helping shape this game and world, then buy it, and hop in the discord and get active! I am happy with my purchase, and to see where it leads.
fun game
Playable but needs a bit of work. Will upvote once it gets better.
for its price i would give it a try
hmmmm its not quite easy to start, it looks very dark with few color, i tried 2 quests but did not manage. Better tutorial would be nice. maybe after a few more updates it can charm me, for now i quit.
