just awful from character creation to combat
CRAZY Morrowind-esque open-world D&D-influenced Action RPG!! PLUS it's a Survival RPG, too! Really interesting and flat out *brilliant* mix of RPG, survival elements, building and huge open-world filled with tons of quests and things of interest. Did I mention it has an utterly amazing Dungeons & Dragons style tabletop/pen and paper RPG ruleset? This game is like Neverwinter Nights 1/2 in Action RPG format, it's nuts! So many Skills, Traits, Perks, gooey stats and stuff to sink our teeth into. Still in Alpha so a lot of great ideas planned yet to come, everyone who is into The Elder Scrolls type and Dungeons & Dragons type RPGs need to be watching this one very closely, it's really unique and cool! On par with Kenshi etc. in terms of pure creativeness and hugely ambitious!! A+ !
Pros: Crafting Cool monsters Lots of build variety Cons: NPCs desire a soul to bring some life into the game (don't get too close they may try to take yours) General early access jankyness UI and balancing is still WIP You could get it now and influence it's future or you could wait until the game is in a better state. Your money, your choice. Gives me TES: Morrowind vibes if it was made by two people and released in early access. If you want to participate in a truly Indy, ground floor experience, while 100% helping shape this game and world then hop in the discord. The Devs are almost always active in there, if you have questions or ideas toss em in the hat :D
HAS POTENTIAL. NEEDS A LOT OF WORK. INTERFACE BAD. GAMEPLAY IS BULKY. FEELS LIKE IT WAS RELEASED AS AN ALPHA GAME. FEELS MORE UNDERDEVELOPED THAN LINDSEY LOHANS BRAIN AFTER STARTING METH IN HER TEENAGE YEARS
It has a lot of potential and is fun. It is early in development, but the people seem very willing to listen and friendly.
I would wait a bit. I was able to play it initially, but since, I can't create a character even after deleting the game and leftover files and reinstalling. kinda frustrating
I want to start by saying that this game is extremely unfinished, but the potential is there. At the moment, I would not pay $20 for it, but if it were a little more polished, I might consider it. I will say that the atmosphere and the OST of this game are actually quite good, and I think they are its main selling points. However, the world feels very empty—I walked for 20 minutes without encountering anything of interest. This lack of content makes the current experience feel a bit hollow. This game has a lot of potential, and I plan to come back in a year or two to see how much progress has been made. I have high hopes for the game and wish the developers much luck in crafting it.
Has a LONG way to go... a very long way to go. I started the game after stumbling through character creation only to find myself drifting backwards while information about where I was supposed to go was being displayed at the bottom of the screen... when I could take control of my character I out at sea... swimming... and died. No way to reverse Y axis for mouse yet either. I didn't make it past that point.... if the tutorial is that screwed up, you know the game is going to be also.
First impressions : Like i did read somewhere else; Yes this game let us think about "The Elder Scrolls ; Morrowind" (One of the best games from several years ago). And Yes it's in EA, so several things to do (witch is normale at this time of development) for make the game better. And YES it's (very) worth to give it a try, Certainly if you did enjoy The Elder Srolls and/or the Gotic serie. Price is OKay for what you get also.
Highly recommended!! This game has an awesome old school D&D vibe with a lot of content for EA. The key to finding this out is to stick with it long enough to learn the game. Honestly you wont be able to do this within the 2 hour got to refund phase. I assure you you won't regret it! The character building with the ability to multi-class is indeed in-depth and rewarding. The developers are active with engaging player comments and fixes things asap. There are and will be bugs, it's part of EA ! The game has more content then most EA games I have purchased and can not wait to see this game develop and grow into the vision the developers have indicated during our communications with each other.
