Really solid singleplayer roguelike deckbuilder!
This game is doing something totally new in the genre, mixing card auto-battlers with turn-based gameplay, for a very satisfying outcome! I'm also pretty happy to say, the numbers in the game go big, and they go fast! So if you like that dopamine hit from scoring big numbers in Balatro, and don't mind other card battlers like Heartstone Battlegrounds, this is right up your alley! On a side note, the art is taken from real-world paintings that are nothing short of wondeerful! And the music in-game is as good as you might expect from the trailer music. Pretty awesome. I heard some of this is even lore accurate to greek mithology.. But who am I to tell? Try the game yourself!
UX isn't great. No iconography so you have to hover over each card to see what effects it does. The entire focus of the game is on scaling your power and health so you can kill and survive later rounds. It's incredibly one note, simple, and perhaps that's what you want. This is by no means a bad game. I just don't think it has much depth and I prefer my deck builders crunchy and deep. A single run may be 40 minutes but it feels like 4 hours due to the repetitive nature.
Really nice card game with amazing vfx and sound design! Love all the card art and the overall aesthetic
I played this during a next fest and it sure has changed a lot since then The artwork is gorgeous—seriously, great idea to use classical paintings Cool theme, good animations and fx, easy worth the 7 bucks
Scaling your heroes every battle feels great! Really like merged deckbuilder with an autobattler mechanics, seems complex at first, but has lot of depth. Tons of cards to customize deck and characters every run. And there is an urge after run to go back and try to place higher on leaderboards :D. Plays great on Steam Deck!
A unique twist on card battler, with great art and interesting gameplay.
Really cool and unique singleplayer roguelike deckbuilder! Played this when it was in Beta and i'm really happy to see the release, It's neat, chill, and possibly slightly addictive! +Classical art +Deep strategy +Online Leaderboard +Gods and heroes from greek mythology +Nice VFXs +Great sound track and SFXs TL;DR - If you like greek mythology, card games and roguelikes you're also gonna like this!
Solid game, worth every penny. Game play loop is fun, gives the needed dopamine hit and the music really puts it into the one more run category.
Solid addition to roguelike turn based games. Loads of cards to customize every run. Scaling heroes feel fun and rewarding. Old artwork on cards looks great! I am a big fan.
Don't understand the game yet, but bought it because the video above is so well edited.
